  • Part Time Rousso Adams Facial Plastic Surgery | Birmingham, AL Rousso Adams Facial Plastic Surgery is looking for a creative, highly organized Social Media & Content Growth Coordinator to create, manage, and grow our social media presence across multiple platforms.
This is a hands-on role for someone who can create strong original content, especially short-form video, and then strategically repurpose that content across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, and other relevant platforms. We are looking for someone with a strong eye for aesthetics who understands what drives reach, discoverability, engagement, and follower growth. The right person should know how to create polished, professional content that feels current without becoming gimmicky or overly promotional. Experience in plastic surgery, aesthetics, beauty, skincare, fashion, wellness, or another highly visual industry is a plus.
Responsibilities include:
Create and publish approximately 5 primary social media posts per week Create consistent Instagram Stories throughout the week Film and edit Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts, and other short-form video Photograph physicians, staff, treatments, products, events, and behind-the-scenes content Write captions in a professional, editorial brand voice Maintain and manage a consistent content calendar Participate in dedicated filming and content days Repurpose original content across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, and other relevant channels Adapt content appropriately for each platform rather than simply posting the exact same version everywhere Turn longer videos into short-form clips, Stories, educational posts, carousels, and other reusable content Work with physicians and staff to identify timely educational and trending content opportunities Ensure appropriate patient consent and HIPAA compliance before publishing Maintain a consistent visual identity and brand voice across platforms Monitor comments, engagement, and basic account activity Growth and strategy responsibilities: Develop and test strategies to increase organic reach and follower growth Stay current on Instagram Reels, TikTok trends, YouTube Shorts, Facebook video, platform changes, hooks, editing styles, and emerging formats Understand social media SEO and how to improve discoverability through keywords, captions, titles, descriptions, profile optimization, and searchable content Optimize content differently for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Facebook Identify content concepts designed to increase reach, shares, saves, watch time, profile visits, subscribers, and followers Track content performance and use analytics to guide future content decisions Identify which content can be successfully repurposed across multiple platforms Monitor competitors and high-performing accounts in plastic surgery, aesthetics, skincare, beauty, and wellness Recommend new content series and opportunities for audience growth Stay informed about changes to platform algorithms, search behavior, and content distribution We are looking for someone who: Has strong short-form video filming and editing skills Understands Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook content Knows how to repurpose one strong piece of content into multiple platform-specific assets Understands hooks, retention, watch time, social SEO, keywords, trends, and organic growth Has experience with Canva, CapCut, Adobe, or similar tools Has excellent visual judgment and attention to detail Is comfortable directing and filming physicians, staff, and patients Is a strong writer and can adapt to an established brand voice Can review analytics and translate performance into better content Is reliable, organized, responsive, and able to work independently Is comfortable working in a professional medical environment A marketing degree is not required. We care more about your portfolio, creative ability, platform knowledge, understanding of organic growth, and proven results. This is an in-person content creation role and is not a remote social media management position.
