Action News Now is looking for a driven, detail-oriented Digital Content Manager to lead our online presence across our website, YouTube channel, and social media platforms. This is a key newsroom leadership role in a fast-paced environment that demands urgency, accuracy, and strong communication. The Digital Content Manager will oversee daily digital coverage, ensuring our stories are published quickly, clearly, and in a way that connects with viewers across platforms. This role requires strong news judgment and the ability to frame regional, state, national, and international stories in a way that highlights local impact for the North State audience.

What You'll Do:

Manage daily content on our website, YouTube channel, and social media platforms Write and publish clear, concise, viewer-friendly digital stories under deadline pressure Quickly digest complex press releases and translate them into understandable content Monitor breaking news and update digital platforms in real time Communicate consistently with reporters, anchors, and producers to ensure strong digital coverage Adapt quickly as stories develop and priorities shift Deliver balanced, fact-driven coverage with strong local impact

What We're Looking For:

Excellent writing and communication skills Ability to work quickly and remain calm under pressure Strong news judgment and organizational skills Leadership mindset and comfort providing guidance and feedback Ability to adapt quickly to changing news conditions Knowledge of basic government is a plus

Compensation & Benefits:

Pay range: approximately $19/hour 401(k) Medical, dental, and vision insurance 10 days of vacation accrued annually 5 sick days per year Overtime as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

A.
