Job Description

Social Content Producer Dyson & Womack Huntington Park, CA Job Details Part-time $28 - $34 an hour 12 hours ago Qualifications Teamwork Final Cut Pro Attention to detail Adobe Premiere Organizational skills Full Job Description Dyson & Womack is a Los Angeles-based public art consulting and fabrication firm. We work with artists, architects, institutions, cities, and developers to realize ambitious artworks—from concept and engineering through fabrication, finishing, and installation. We are looking for a visually sophisticated Social Content Producer to help tell the story of our work and strengthen the Dyson & Womack brand online. The Role This is a hands-on creative role focused on developing approximately two polished social posts per week for Instagram and LinkedIn, with occasional YouTube content. The ideal candidate can recognize a compelling story within an active fabrication studio and transform it into intelligent, visually engaging content. You do not need to be a fabricator, but you should be genuinely interested in art, architecture, design, engineering, materials, and how things are made. Working with the Studio Manager and D&W leadership, you will align the content calendar with active projects and business priorities—whether highlighting a particular fabrication capability, documenting an installation, sharing an artist collaboration, or drawing new stories from our extensive project archive. Responsibilities Develop and maintain a monthly content calendar aligned with studio activity and business priorities. Produce approximately two publication-ready posts per week, including short-form videos, Reels, carousels, project highlights, and educational content. Photograph and film fabrication, finishing, transportation, installation, and other behind-the-scenes processes. Research D&W's archive and repurpose existing photography, video, renderings, and project documentation into new content. Interview artists, fabricators, engineers, and team members when useful to a story. Write clear, informed captions that communicate both the creative and technical dimensions of the work. Create simple, brand-aligned graphics, titles, subtitles, and supporting assets. Deliver complete post packages—including final media, captions, credits, tags, and alt text—to the Studio Manager for publishing. Maintain an organized, searchable library of social content and source assets. Use AI-enabled tools thoughtfully for research, transcription, footage review, ideation, repurposing, and workflow efficiency while maintaining accuracy, confidentiality, and a distinct human voice. Review basic performance data and apply relevant insights to future content. What We're Looking For Experience producing social content for a creative business, studio, artist, cultural organization, architecture or design firm, or comparable brand. A strong portfolio demonstrating visual storytelling, photography, and short-form video. Strong writing, research, visual judgment, and attention to detail. Proficiency with Premiere Pro, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut, or comparable editing software. Familiarity with Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube content formats. Experience using AI-assisted creative or production tools with sound editorial judgment. Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently. Comfort working safely in an active fabrication shop and occasionally visiting project sites and installations. Experience with graphic design, Adobe Creative Suite, motion graphics, interviewing, or contemporary art is helpful but not required. What Success Looks Like The goal is not simply to post more. It is to build a distinctive visual identity for Dyson & Womack and show what goes into realizing ambitious public artwork. You will help turn the work already happening every day—designing, welding, fabricating, finishing, transporting, installing, problem-solving, and collaborating with artists—into compelling stories that demonstrate the quality, complexity, and values behind our work. Position Details Part-time, approximately [12-16] hours per week Primarily in person at our Los Angeles-area studio, with flexibility for some editing and planning work to be completed remotely Company-provided laptop, business iPhone, software, and digital storage Occasional local travel to project sites, installations, and artist studios
