The Rust Doctor, LLC is looking for a creative, motivated, and dependable Social Media Content Creator to help grow our online presence and showcase our automotive projects, services, and day-to-day work. This is a part-time, Monday-Friday position with hours to be determined. We are specifically looking for an individual/independent contractor to work directly with our team. Marketing agencies and social media agencies will not be considered. Responsibilities The Social Media Content Creator will be responsible for creating, editing, and publishing engaging content across: Facebook Instagram TikTok YouTube Responsibilities will include: Taking high-quality photos and videos of vehicles, restoration projects, repairs, shop activities, employees, and completed work. Creating short-form video content, including Instagram/Facebook Reels, TikToks, and YouTube Shorts. Creating and editing longer-form YouTube content when appropriate. Editing photos and videos for professional social media use. Writing engaging captions, descriptions, titles, and hashtags. Posting content consistently across all social media platforms. Developing creative content ideas that showcase our work and help grow our audience. Staying current with social media trends, sounds, formats, and platform changes. Helping develop a consistent look, voice, and brand presence across our social media accounts. Organizing photos, videos, and other digital content for future use.

Qualifications Must have:

Experience creating social media content. Working knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. Experience with video and photo editing software. Ability to shoot quality video and photography. Strong creative instincts and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and manage content deadlines. Dependable transportation and ability to be on-site as needed. Strong communication and organizational skills. Experience creating automotive, restoration, fabrication, mechanical, or similar content is a major plus. Applicants with a portfolio, social media accounts, or examples of previous content are strongly encouraged to provide them. Car/Off-Road enthusiasts will be given higher priority.
