Marketing Department/Social Media and Writer Job Duties This position will assist the College Relations & Marketing Department with a variety of tasks, but mainly will focus on creating authentic content for social media, especially TikTok and Instagram, and writing for email content and social media. Some scheduling events into online calendars and web editing may be performed as well. Interest in photography and videography is a plus. Campus Locations El Dorado Nature of Position Part Time; # hours per week If Part Time, list Working Hours Salary $9.00 p/hr. Qualifications Required knowledge and skills Comfortable on camera and behind the camera for authentic social media content Knowledgeable about TikTok & Instagram trends Effective and efficient writing skills. Some experience with Microsoft Office, Canva and Adobe Creative Suite Ability to establish and maintain productive work relationships with staff, faculty and students. Able to work independently to complete assignments neatly and accurately with little supervision. Ability to work some evenings and weekends to cover college events for social media. Actively involved in campus life; on-campus living is a plus Required experience General office environment. Computer experience preferred. Required educational background Federal Work Study eligible preferred. Current Butler student.
