Social Media Content Creator Intern The Daily Catch | Boston, MA | Part-Time | 5-8 Hours/Week | $16-$18/

www.instagram.com/thedailycatch The Daily Catch is looking for a creative college student to help us capture photo and video content across our Boston restaurants and businesses. We're looking for someone who knows their way around a camera, has experience creating Instagram Reels and TikToks, and genuinely enjoys shooting photos and videos. This is a paid opportunity to build your portfolio, gain hands-on marketing experience, and create content for an established Boston restaurant brand. The schedule is flexible, typically 4-6 hours per week over 1-2 days, based on your availability and what we are looking to capture that week. Content could include an early morning at Calamari Fisheries, our wholesale seafood business on Boston's Fish Pier, daytime shoots at Hanover Street or our Takeout Window, or dinner service at The Waterfront. Camera equipment is provided, and you'll work directly with our Director of Marketing, who is also a professional photographer, to improve your photography, video, editing, and marketing skills. You'll also have room to bring your own ideas and creative style to the role. And yes, there will definitely be times when you get to eat what you shoot.
What We're Looking For:
Comfortable using a mirrorless or DSLR camera Experience creating Instagram Reels, TikToks, and other short-form content Strong interest in photography, video, marketing, and social media Creative eye and willingness to bring your own ideas Basic photo and video editing experience Reliable, organized, and comfortable working independently Food, restaurant, or hospitality content experience is a plus Preferred areas of study include Marketing, Hospitality, Communications, Liberal Arts, Photography, Film/Video, or related fields To apply please include your resume and a link/file to your work, such as a portfolio, website, Instagram or TikTok account, or a collection of photo and video content
