Steve Boucher, Director of Marketing and Communications Responsibilities:
The primary responsibilities of this position include creating digital content for various college communications platforms including digital screens, social media, and college website. This may include social media takeovers, taking photos and video at campus activities and events, editing photos and video, designing graphics, and writing and editing articles, news releases, and social media captions.
Qualifications:
Communications and Media or Marketing major (other majors considered with relevant electives) Experience using social media platforms: Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok (professional or personal) Experience taking photos and/or short videos at events or in everyday settings (on mobile phones) Basic photo and video editing skills (Canva or Adobe Express) Strong writing and editing skills for different formats: social media posts, articles, short news stories Reliable and collaborative
Requirements:
Average of 7 hours per week Hours will be scheduled around classes and other responsibilities Monday-Friday 8:30-4; with some evening/weekend hours available.
