Director of Social Media and Creator Programs Erie Prep Academy Erie, PA Job Details Full-time | Contract $35,000 a year 18 hours ago Qualifications Teamwork Increasing user engagement Youth mentoring Youth programs teaching experience Student recruitment Student engagement techniques Bachelor's degree Teaching experience with teenagers Communications Enrollment management Coaching high school students Training Instagram Teaching Working with youth Educational content composition projects Full Job Description Erie Preparatory Academy seeks a Christ-centered creator-educator to design, recruit for, and lead an international high school social media / creator / digital media track within our college-preparatory, boarding-school environment. The program will train students in responsible content creation, platform strategy, and digital storytelling while reflecting EPA's commitment to faith, leadership, and whole-student development. Responsibilities Design a structured creator/media pathway (intro to social media, content lab, advanced creator studio, capstone) aligned with EPA's mission and academic standards. Teach and lead courses and workshops in local and global social media strategy, content creation, short-form video, livestreaming, branding, and media ethics. Actively recruit students (both local and international) into the track, sharing the vision with families, advisors, and coaches, and using digital outreach to attract mission-fit students. Build and supervise student creator teams that produce school-approved content for admissions, athletics, student life, and school storytelling. Serve as the primary point of leadership for the creator/media track, including scheduling, project oversight, standards for student conduct online, and collaboration with other departments. Ensure all program activities and public content reflect EPA's Christian identity, values, and expectations for student witness. Requirements Proven success in global social media and content creation, including work that has achieved viral reach or trend-level engagement on platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Discord, and/or emerging platforms. Experience designing or teaching courses, workshops, or structured learning experiences for youth in media, communications, or creator topics. Demonstrated ability to recruit and enroll participants into programs (students, athletes, creators, or similar), with measurable outcomes. Clear alignment with EPA's Christian mission and comfort discipling and mentoring teenagers in digital spaces. Bachelor's degree required; master's in education, communications, digital media, or a related field preferred.
