Are you creative, outgoing, and always up on the latest TikTok and Instagram trends? Do you love creating videos, taking photos, editing content, and coming up with fun ideas? Once Upon A Child Lancaster is looking for a part-time Social Media Content Creator to help bring our store, products, events, and personality to life on social media! This is a great opportunity for a high school or college student interested in social media, marketing, content creation, photography, videography, or communications to gain hands-on experience while having the freedom to be creative. Job Responsibilities Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Consistently utilize the Social Media Planner, in-store emails, signage, and current store promotions as guides for planning, creating, and posting social media content. Capture engaging photos and videos in-store featuring merchandise, new arrivals, events, promotions, seasonal products, and store happenings. Create and edit Instagram Reels, TikToks, Stories, photos, carousels, and other short-form content . Develop fun, creative content that represents the Once Upon A Child brand and connects with our local customers. Stay current on social media trends, trending sounds, video styles, and content ideas and find creative ways to adapt them to Once Upon A Child. Help promote upcoming store events, sales, buy drives, product drops, and special promotions through social media. Create content in advance and help maintain a consistent posting schedule. Assist with writing engaging captions and calls-to-action. Help showcase the unique personality of our Lancaster location through authentic, locally created content. Review upcoming content with management and make adjustments when needed. Follow brand guidelines while bringing fresh ideas and creativity to our social media presence. We're Looking for Someone Who... Enjoys creating content and being creative. Is comfortable using TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and Canva . Has basic photo/video editing skills or is excited to learn. Understands current social media trends and what makes people stop scrolling. Is dependable, organized, and able to meet content deadlines. Can work independently and manage their time effectively. Is comfortable filming in a busy retail environment. Isn't afraid to bring us new ideas—we want your creativity! Has an interest in social media, marketing, fashion, retail, kids' products, or content creation. Previous professional social media experience is not required. We're looking for someone creative, dependable, and excited to learn and grow their skills.
