Job Description

Brand & Content Lead — Pediatric Dental Mastermind Powered by APOHCO | Greater Cincinnati (with national reach) From Dental Group to Mastermind We started APOHCO to solve a problem: how do we make sure every kid in this region has access to great pediatric dental care? We figured it out. Now we're taking that further. We are launching a pediatric dental mastermind;, peer-to-peer learning, real strategy—all of it powered by the doctors who built something different. And we need a leader to shape how that reaches them, how it sounds, and how it grows. That's you. First, who we are. Accountable Pediatric Oral Health Care Organization — APOHCO (rhymes with taco) — is a doctor-led group supporting pediatric dental practices across Greater Cincinnati and southeastern Indiana. Montgomery. Westside. Milford. Harrison. Lebanon. Lawrenceburg. Six communities, and growing. We didn't build it the way most groups get built. We built it around a single question: how do we make sure every kid in this region is actually connected to a dental home? Not "how do we scale," not "how do we consolidate" — how do we get more kids in the chair, and give the people treating them a job worth staying in. That's worked. It's worked well enough that other pediatric dentists keep asking us how we did it. So we're doing something about that. We are creating a Mastermind group for pediatric dentists at every stage of the journey — the associate figuring out what they want, the doctor two years into a startup, the owner deciding whether to grow or hold steady, the clinician who loves the work but is quietly burning out on everything around it. It's peer learning, business strategy, and clinical excellence in one room. Not a course. Not a consultant. A group of people who actually understand the problem, helping each other solve it — so more pediatric dentists can build a career and a life they don't want to escape from, and more kids get great care because of it. It's new. There's no website you can go read. That's the point of this role. Beyond the Mastermind Brand Your role in creating and distributing content will not only be for the Mastermind, but also for the leaders of this group. Each leader will have their own personal brand that we will use to support and push the value of the Mastermind. Dr. Petr Vaughan — the one who's done every version of this career. Associate. Large group. Startup from nothing. Acquisitions. He's a natural leader with a genuine drive to push people past what they thought they were capable of, and he's built teams that stuck. He wants to hand that playbook to other doctors instead of guarding it. Paul — the systems and access guy. Background across tech startups, healthcare consulting, and nonprofit executive leadership, all pointed at one thing: designing the systems — inside the practice and inside the community — that make sure no child slips through the cracks. Analytical, structural, and stubborn about population health. Dr. Lisa Rudolph — the proof that it's possible. A deeply experienced pediatric dentist who's done hospital attending work, runs her own practice, leads her own team, performs frenectomies — and is a present, engaged mom at the same time. Strong and balanced, not one at the expense of the other. That matters enormously to the doctors we're trying to reach. Three distinct people. Three distinct voices. All pointed at the same mission. What you'd actually do. Take the ideas that live in our heads — in conversations, on podcasts, in lectures — and turn them into content that reaches pediatric dentists across the country. That means building out four brands at once: Dr. Petr's, Paul's, Dr. Lisa's, and Mastermind itself. Each personal brand carries its own voice and its own set of topics, dripped out consistently across LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram. All of it feeds back to the Mastermind, which has its own imagery and voice supported by the three. It also means running the machine. Podcast episodes get produced and distributed. Lectures get built. Speaking engagements get researched, pursued, and set up. Shoot days get organized down to making sure everybody's in the right branded shirt when the camera turns on. Some days you're a strategist. Some days you're an executive assistant. Most days you're both. You're leading this effort, but you're not doing it alone. You'd be working with a dedicated marketing team that has deep experience across our practices and digital channels—they've got your back for execution, design, platform management, whatever support you need to make your vision happen. You set the direction. They help you drive it. What we're looking for, in order of how much it matters. Content creation and copywriting You can sit in a conversation with a thought leader, pull out the core concept, and turn it into a white paper, a presentation, a LinkedIn post, and a podcast description — each one sounding right for its medium and right for the person it's coming from. This is the whole job, really. Everything else supports it. Organization Specifically, content production. Think assembly line. Pieces enter, move through creation and review and scheduling, and go out the door on time across four brands and three platforms. You keep that line running and you don't lose track of what's where. Social media expertise Real understanding of how each platform actually behaves — LinkedIn versus Facebook versus Instagram, what the algorithms reward, how to build an audience rather than just post at one. Strategy, not just scheduling. Brand voice execution We'll define the voices. You keep them distinct, consistent, and true — across every piece, every platform, every week. Three personal brands that never blur together, and an umbrella brand they all reinforce. Tech proficiency You're comfortable living in software all day — project management platforms, scheduling and publishing tools, analytics dashboards, design tools, AI tools. More importantly, when we hand you something new, you figure it out without waiting for training. The stack we use today isn't the stack we'll use in a year, and you should find that exciting rather than exhausting Success with our team Skills get you in the door. How you work with us is what makes this actually go. We have a small marketing team that you will be working with. The way we treat each other and how we work together matters as much as anything on the list above. Here's what we've found matters most. Creative confidence without creative ego We want someone who brings ideas to the table and isn't afraid to share them — we genuinely want your perspective. But nobody here has all the answers, and we like it that way. We ask questions, bounce ideas off each other, and aren't shy about saying something could be better. The right person is confident in what they bring and just as excited to learn from the people around them. If you enjoy refining your work as much as creating it, you'll fit in well. A true collaborative partner You'll have a lot of ownership in this role, but you won't be building it alone. You'll work closely with our leadership team to shape ideas, refine messaging, and bring a shared vision to life. Sometimes you'll lead the creative direction, and other times you'll help carry someone else's vision to the finish line. The right person enjoys both, and understands the best work happens when talented people build something together. Someone who takes initiative We're looking for someone who naturally looks for ways to make things better. If you notice a gap, fill it. If you see an opportunity, run with it. If you think there's a better way to approach something, we'd love to hear it. We don't expect you to wait for every task to be assigned — but we do value someone who knows when to ask questions, gather input, and keep the team moving in the same direction. Naturally curious Curiosity matters a lot here. You'll spend time in conversations, interviews, dream sessions, and presentations, then turn those ideas into content that connects with people. The best person for this role loves asking questions, enjoys learning how people think, and can find the story or insight someone else might miss. Quality over quantity We care much more about creating meaningful, thoughtful content than checking another post off the list. We'd rather publish something that genuinely teaches, inspires, or starts a conversation than put content out just to stay busy. If you take pride in work that's polished, intentional, and worth someone's time, you'll feel right at home. The standard stuff, because it matters too: We take care of our team the same way we strive to take care of our patients. That means offering medical, dental, and vision insurance (with the practice contributing toward your medical premium), a 401(k), voluntary accident, critical illness, and short-term disability coverage, paid time off, paid holidays, and a dedicated sick time policy. If you're looking for more than just your next job, you'll also find opportunities to continue growing your career with us. The honest take This is early-stage. The objectives will shift. Some weeks will be strategy and some weeks will be logistics. There's no established playbook here and no big department behind you — there's us, and there's you, and there's a mission we care about a lot. In exchange, you get to put your fingerprints on something from the first day of it. The brand voice of four people and a national community, shaped substantially by how you decide to say it. If that sounds like the job you've been waiting for someone to offer you — let's talk. We're not in a hurry to fill a seat. We're looking for the right person. Application Requirement Because this is a content-driven role, we'd like to see how you think, create, and communicate. Please include a link to a portfolio, professional social media profile, website, or other online work that showcases your content creation, copywriting, social media, or brand-building experience. This could be a LinkedIn profile, professional Instagram or Facebook account, personal website, online portfolio, or another example of work you've created or managed.
