We're looking for someone who is confident, creative, reliable, and comfortable walking into a business or content shoot and taking the lead. This is not just someone who can hold a camera. We need someone who understands what performs on social media, knows how to direct clients, and can capture content that feels current, polished, and intentional. What You'll Be Doing Attending client content days throughout the Chicago area Shooting vertical video for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and social media Capturing high-quality lifestyle, branding, service, product, and behind-the-scenes photos Directing clients so they feel comfortable and confident on camera Following agency shot lists while also identifying additional content opportunities Shooting talking-head videos, trending concepts, B-roll, treatments, office content, and promotional content Making sure footage is well-lit, stable, clean, and visually appealing Uploading and organizing all content after each shoot Communicating with our internal marketing team before and after content days Helping us bring creative concepts to life on location Who We're Looking For You are: Based in or around Chicago Confident working directly with clients Reliable and punctual Comfortable taking direction while also being proactive Creative and aware of current social media trends Strong at shooting vertical video Able to make people feel comfortable in front of the camera Detail-oriented Professional and polished when representing our agency Comfortable traveling locally for shoots Someone who actually shows up and follows through Experience creating content for beauty, aesthetics, medical spas, wellness, hospitality, restaurants, fashion, or lifestyle brands is a major plus. Equipment You should have access to a high-quality smartphone and/or camera suitable for professional social media content. Having your own tripod, microphone, lighting, stabilizer, or additional content equipment is a plus. Schedule This is a part-time / freelance position based around scheduled client content days. Shoot dates will vary depending on client needs, with opportunities for additional work as our Chicago client base grows.
