This role involves creating social-native video content for various platforms.

MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE CREATING CONTENT FOR SOCIAL MEDIA

Please include examples of previous social media content creation and/or filming work with your application. We are looking for content creators — not traditional videographers . The ideal candidate understands how organic social media works and knows how to create content that feels natural and native to platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts. You should understand what makes people stop scrolling, how to create strong hooks, how to film for short-form content, and how to capture authentic moments that perform organically. You should be comfortable being behind the camera, directing people on camera when needed, conducting interviews, capturing b-roll, and occasionally appearing on-camera (being on-camera is not required). Payment is a flat rate of $150-$200 per video . Filming only — no editing required. Filming includes interviewing small business owners and capturing b-roll of their business for short-form social media content. Travel reimbursement will be added for projects requiring travel outside of your local metro area. This is a great opportunity for creators who already create social content and want to earn extra income working with local businesses. Duties Create and film engaging, social-native video content for platforms such as TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts. Film short-form content with a strong understanding of hooks, attention-grabbing openings, pacing, framing, and what performs organically on social media . Conduct and film interviews with small business owners, employees, customers, and other relevant individuals. Capture engaging b-roll and supporting footage that can be used in short-form social media videos. Recognize interesting moments, stories, and visual opportunities while filming. Film content that feels native to social media rather than overly polished or commercial . Upload all raw footage to Google Drive following the provided guidelines. Work independently while following creative direction and content requirements. Requirements Must own an iPhone 11 or newer or a comparable smartphone with a high-quality camera. Must have the ability to upload footage to Google Drive. Must own or have access to wireless lavalier microphones compatible with your smartphone. Compensation Payment is a flat rate of $150-$200 per video , depending on the project. Filming only — no editing required. For projects that require travel outside of your local metro area, additional travel reimbursement will be provided.

This is a contractor position and a flexible side-hustle opportunity for creators looking to earn extra income. This is not a part-time or full-time position.
