We're looking for a Social Media Copywriter who knows how to create work that feels native to the feed, not like traditional advertising adapted for social. The right person understands what makes people stop, watch, share, comment, and engage, and knows how to translate brand strategy and business objectives into social ideas and copy that connect with consumers. This role will work as part of a client's in house agency social media team, collaborating closely with creative, strategy, channel, and other cross functional partners. We're looking for an experienced social copywriter who can contribute strong ideas, write across a range of social formats and platforms, and move comfortably in a fast paced creative environment. This role is located at a client site in Atlanta, GA. A hybrid working model is acceptable.

Develop original, platform native social ideas, content series, campaigns, and culturally relevant content rooted in audience behavior, channel strategy, brand objectives, and business goals. . Write clear, engaging copy across social formats, including captions, hooks, short form video scripts, on screen text, headlines, comments, and calls to action. . Bring strong social creative thinking to briefs, contributing concepts and ideas in addition to copy execution. . Adapt voice, pacing, structure, and creative conventions by platform so the work feels created specifically for each channel rather than repurposed from other marketing. . Monitor social conversations, trends, fandoms, platform behavior, and cultural moments, quickly identifying relevant opportunities and translating them into brand appropriate creative ideas and copy. . Collaborate closely with the client's in house agency social media team, including creative partners, strategists, channel owners, and other cross functional stakeholders, from brief through final delivery. . Help shape the verbal and visual expression of social ideas while incorporating feedback, performance learnings, legal guidance, brand standards, and channel requirements. . Manage multiple assignments and priorities in a fast moving environment while maintaining a high standard of creative quality, accuracy, and attention to detail. Required qualifications to be successful in this role: . 5+ years of professional copywriting experience, with significant experience developing creative specifically for social media. . Experience creating social content for consumer facing brands or retail organizations is required. . A portfolio demonstrating strong social first thinking and writing across short form video, captions, platform native concepts, campaigns, and culturally relevant content. . Strong working knowledge of TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and emerging social platforms, including the distinct audience behaviors, formats, language, and creative conventions of each. . Demonstrated ability to develop social concepts and write concise hooks, scripts, headlines, captions, on screen copy, comments, and calls to action in an established brand voice. . Experience translating strategy, audience insights, cultural context, and business objectives into creative ideas and executions. . Ability to work effectively with creative, strategy, channel, and cross functional partners in an iterative, high volume environment. . Strong communication, presentation, collaboration, and organizational skills. . Sound cultural judgment and the ability to determine when and how brands should participate in social trends and conversations. .
