Job Description

Job Overview Youth Rising is seeking a highly strategic, digitally fluent professional to work directly with our Founder/CEO. This role is a cross-functional strategic partner within the CEO's office, focused on translating leadership insights and program models into high-quality digital assets and content systems. This is not a traditional marketing or social media management role. Instead, we are looking for a candidate who can merge public relations, communication strategy, and storytelling to build long-term visibility and impact.
Core Responsibilities Executive Visibility:
Partner with the CEO to develop and execute a high-level LinkedIn and digital content strategy to strengthen leadership credibility.
Digital Content Strategy:
Create structured, high-quality content across LinkedIn, YouTube, and training formats that aligns with organizational messaging.
Training & Education:
Design webinars and educational series aligned with program models and grant priorities to build a long-term resource library.
Content Productization:
Convert long-form content and trainings into multiple assets (clips, decks, guides) and build repeatable systems for distribution.
Video Strategy:
Support a structured video pipeline, guiding format and delivery style in collaboration with production support.
Program Translation:
Translate complex programs and initiatives into compelling narratives to support partner education and onboarding.
Future Initiatives:
Support content development for the upcoming "Amplify" youth media platform. Role Boundaries To ensure clarity, this position has specific functional limits: No social media management or daily posting. No management of fundraising, donor relations, or partnerships. The focus is on strategy, content systems, and development , not daily marketing execution.
Qualifications Education:
Bachelor's degree in Communications, PR, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
Experience:
7+ years in communications, PR, or content strategy.
Executive Support:
Proven experience developing high-level content for executives or organizational leaders.
Platform Expertise:
Deep knowledge of LinkedIn and YouTube dynamics, including algorithms and audience behavior.
Strategic Skills:
Ability to build content systems from scratch and translate fast-moving ideas into structured, high-quality outputs.
Content Development:
Experience creating trainings and/or knowledge-based products. Benefits & Equipment Flexible part-time schedule. Equipment provided as needed.
Pay:
$45.00 - $75.00 per hour
Work Location:
Hybrid remote in Grass Valley, CA 95945
