Group is a modern hospitality company creating and operating elevated food, beverage, dining, and social experiences. Our portfolio includes Flyfish Club, Little Maven and ITO in New York City, Capon's Chophouse, Bergen Social and Capon's Burgers in New Jersey, as well as additional concepts across other markets. We are looking for a Junior Social Media Content Producer to join our marketing team and help bring our restaurants, chefs, events, partnerships, and guest experiences to life across social media. This is a hands-on creative role for someone who understands hospitality, culture, food, and social media and is equally comfortable behind a camera, editing a Reel, and helping plan the next month's content calendar.
WORK STRUCTURE
This is a remote / field-based role. Administrative, planning, and editing work may be completed remotely, while frequent in-person production is required across VCR Group locations in New York City and New Jersey. The role also includes off-site shoots, events, activations, and occasional evening and weekend production.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Shoot high-quality photo and video content across VCR Group restaurants, events, chef collaborations, partnerships, and special activations. Capture social-first content using professional DSLR and/or mirrorless cameras, as well as iPhone when fast, native content is needed. Edit short-form video for Instagram Reels, Stories, TikTok, and other digital platforms using Adobe Premiere Pro and CapCut. Edit and color-grade photo and video content while maintaining the visual identity of each VCR Group brand. Work closely with the Director of Marketing and Senior Content Producer to execute content and social media strategies across multiple hospitality brands. Help build and maintain weekly and monthly content calendars, ensuring each concept has a consistent flow of timely and relevant content. Develop concepts, shot lists, creative briefs, and production plans ahead of shoots. Capture food, cocktails, interiors, chefs, guests, events, nightlife, behind-the-scenes moments, and talent-led content. Independently capture, edit, and deliver social-ready content on a fast turnaround, including same-day and next-day content surrounding events and activations. Cover live events and coordinate with restaurant teams, chefs, talent, partners, and the broader marketing team around shoot schedules and production needs. Create polished social graphics, event flyers, promotional banners, and other digital marketing assets for Flyfish Club and other VCR Group concepts. Develop creative concepts and visual directions for events, programming, partnerships, and special promotions, taking ideas from initial concept through final design. Adapt creative assets across multiple formats, including Instagram feed, Stories, email, web, in-app banners, and event marketing. Stay current on social trends, audio, editing styles, platform updates, and emerging formats, and identify ways to adapt them appropriately for VCR Group brands. Organize raw footage, photography, finished assets, and content libraries so materials can be easily repurposed across social, PR, email, web, and other marketing channels. Assist with posting, scheduling, and community content as needed. Review basic social performance insights and help identify content formats and creative approaches to repeat, test, or evolve. Manage multiple brands, shoots, deadlines, and last-minute hospitality needs simultaneously.
