Full Job Description Part-Time Social Media Content Manager and Designer Company:

Approximately 20 hours per week
Location:
Remote (US based), with availability during U.S. business hours 440 Strategy Group is seeking an experienced Social Media Content Manager and Designer to support multiple client brands, primarily dental and healthcare practices. This role combines creative content planning, copywriting, graphic design, short-form video editing, and direct client communication. Reporting to the business owner, this person will manage the full content process from monthly planning through approval and publication. Responsibilities Develop monthly content calendars with 12-16 posts per client, incorporating educational, promotional, seasonal, and practice-specific content. Write engaging post captions, image headlines, supporting copy, calls to action, and relevant hashtags. Design modern, professional graphics, carousels, stories, and reusable templates using Canva. Create and edit short-form videos for social media, including Reels, Shorts, and TikToks, using client-provided footage, photos, and other assets. Work within each client's brand standards, colors, fonts, and visual style. Adapt copy and creative for the appropriate social media platforms. Communicate directly with clients to gather content, review monthly packages, incorporate feedback, and obtain approvals. Manage one-off requests and additional posts while maintaining monthly production deadlines. Schedule approved content through SocialPilot and verify publication. Maintain project schedules, deadlines, and status updates in Asana, and organize creative assets in Google Drive. Proactively bring fresh content ideas, design approaches, and recommendations to leadership. Participate in brief weekly internal meetings and client content reviews as needed. Qualifications At least five years of professional graphic design experience, with a strong social media portfolio. Advanced Canva skills and a strong understanding of typography, layout, branding, and modern design. Excellent social media copywriting skills and the ability to write for U.S. audiences across multiple brand voices. Experience using ChatGPT or similar AI tools to develop and refine social media copy, with sound editorial judgment to ensure accuracy, natural language, and consistency with each client's brand voice. Demonstrated ability to edit engaging social media videos using Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, Canva, or comparable tools. Experience planning content calendars and managing multiple client brands. Strong organizational, proofreading, and client communication skills. A self-driven, entrepreneurial approach, with the ability to work independently, solve problems, and proactively contribute ideas. Ability to manage competing priorities and take ownership of creative quality and deadlines. Experience with SocialPilot or similar scheduling platforms, plus familiarity with Asana, Slack, and Google Drive. Healthcare or dental marketing experience and Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator skills are a plus.
