Tarta is a Boulder-based Basque cheesecake company specializing in small-batch, high-quality desserts. Inspired by the iconic cheesecakes of San Sebastián, our cheesecakes are caramelized on the outside and soft and creamy on the inside. We're a small, nimble team looking for the right people to grow with Tarta. We're looking for a skilled Social Media & Content Coordinator who can help bring the Tarta brand to life online through engaging, polished and authentic content. We want someone who can help build Tarta's voice and expand our footprint across Boulder, CO. This is an excellent opportunity for a creative student, recent graduate or early-career social-media professional who wants meaningful ownership of a local brand's online presence.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Help create the voice of Tarta and engage with our customers Plan, create and publish three to five social-media posts per week Photograph and film Tarta's products, people and behind-the-scenes moments Create short-form videos, graphics and captions consistent with Tarta's voice Adapt content for Instagram and potentially TikTok Respond to routine interactions and escalate customer questions when appropriate Maintain a simple monthly content calendar Track basic results and share a concise monthly performance summary Meet periodically with Tarta's team to gather content and plan promotions

REQUIREMENTS

Experience creating social content for a business, organization, publication or personal brand A portfolio demonstrating social-media, photography, video or graphic-design skills Strong instincts for current social platforms and engaging content Clear writing and good visual judgment Experience with Canva and CapCut, Adobe Creative Cloud or similar tools Reliable, organized and able to work independently Comfortable attending occasional content sessions or events in Boulder Students and recent graduates are encouraged to apply if their portfolio demonstrates the required skills. A degree is not required.

SCHEDULE

Part-time. Specific days and hours will be discussed during the interview process and may vary based on production needs. Estimated 8 hours needed per week (6-hour bake day, 2-hour package day). Time needed per week may vary.

Start date:

ASAP COMPENSATION

$24-$30 per hour, depending on experience.

LOCATION/SCHEUDLE

Hybrid/Remote. Tarta is based in Boulder, CO. Travel to events, such as photoshoots and Farmer's Markets, etc. is required.

Hours:

TBD, roughly 4-8 hours per week. Final hours may vary.
