Part-Time Social Media & Content Coordinator NOVA Community Services Virginia Beach, VA Job Details Part-time | Contract $1,000 - $1,250 a month 7 hours ago Qualifications Content creation for general public Canva TikTok Facebook Instagram Full Job Description Part-Time Social Media & Content Coordinator NOVA Community Services is seeking a creative and reliable Part-Time Social Media & Content Coordinator to help manage and grow our online presence. This is a flexible, part-time opportunity requiring approximately 5-10 hours per week . Responsibilities Manage and schedule content across up to NOVA's social media accounts , including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and other platforms as needed. Create and schedule engaging, professional posts that educate the community about NOVA's behavioral health and community-based services. Develop original, human-created social media content. AI-generated posts/content are not permitted. Help develop ideas, scripts, talking points, and concepts for short-form video content, including TikTok, Instagram Reels, and similar platforms. Work with NOVA staff to turn information about our programs and services into easy-to-understand, engaging content for the public. Help identify opportunities to increase community awareness, engagement, referrals, and overall social media reach. Maintain a consistent posting schedule and brand voice across platforms. Assist with basic graphics, captions, content calendars, and social media campaigns as needed. What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who is creative, organized, dependable, and understands how to make social media content feel authentic rather than overly corporate or AI-generated . Experience managing business or nonprofit social media accounts is preferred. Experience with TikTok/Reels, Canva, short-form video content, and social media scheduling platforms is a plus. Because NOVA provides behavioral health services, the ideal candidate should also be comfortable creating thoughtful and appropriate content around mental health, youth and family services, and community resources. Position Details Part-Time / Contract Approximately 5-10 hours per week; maximum 10 hours Flexible schedule Primarily remote, with occasional coordination with NOVA staff for video/content development Must be able to provide examples of social media accounts, campaigns, graphics, or video content previously created or managed To apply: Please submit your resume along with examples or links to social media content/accounts you have previously managed or created.
