Part-time About the Role Hao by Haoru and Haoru are looking for a creative part-time Social Media Content Creator to create fresh, entertaining, and engaging short-form content for our restaurant social media. We are not looking for someone who only creates traditional food promotional videos. While food-focused content will still be an important part of our social media, we also want content that is fun, creative, and enjoyable to watch on its own. We are especially interested in content such as trend-based Reels and TikToks, funny videos or short skits, behind-the-scenes content, staff-focused content, storytelling, creative food videos, promotional content, and other original ideas that fit our restaurant brand. Responsibilities Develop original short-form video ideas and concepts Visit our Fairfax and Centreville locations for filming Film and edit Instagram Reels and TikTok-style videos Create approximately 1-2 short-form videos per week depending on the type of content Stay up to date with social media trends and adapt them creatively for our restaurants Take ownership of the creative direction of the content you produce Our focus is on creativity and quality rather than simply posting as frequently as possible. What We're Looking For Experience creating short-form social media content Strong understanding of Instagram Reels, TikTok, and current social media trends Comfortable filming and editing video Creative and able to come up with original concepts independently Able to visit both restaurant locations as needed College students are welcome to apply Restaurant, food, lifestyle, or entertainment content experience is a plus, but not required Please include a portfolio, Instagram/TikTok account, or examples of previous videos with your application. We would especially love to see examples of creative, funny, trend-based, storytelling, or promotional videos you have worked on.

Pay:

$20.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 5.0 - 8.0 per week
