Blue Bear Plumbing, Heating & Air is one of the most trusted names in home services — and we're ready to become the most followed, too. We're hiring a Part-Time Social Media Content Creator to run our Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok presence, turn our techs into local legends, and make plumbing content people actually want to watch. About the Role You'll own our social presence end-to-end — planning content, capturing it, editing it, and posting it. Some of that content will come from job sites alongside our technicians; the rest will come from studio-style shoots, team features, customer stories, and trend-driven posts you produce on your own. You'll have real creative freedom to position Blue Bear as the go-to plumbing, heating, and air company in our market. What You'll Do Plan, shoot, edit, and post short-form video and photo content for TikTok, Instagram (Reels, Stories, posts), and Facebook Capture on-site footage from real jobs when it makes sense — before-and-afters, satisfying repairs, and behind-the-scenes moments Stay ahead of trending audio, formats, and challenges on TikTok and Instagram — and adapt them to our brand fast Build a content calendar that mixes education, entertainment, customer stories, team spotlights, and promotions Write captions, hooks, and on-screen text that stop the scroll Engage with our audience — reply to comments and DMs in our voice Track what's working (views, saves, shares, follows, leads) and double down on it Help position Blue Bear as the trusted, local, go-to home services expert Weekly Content Minimums Here's the baseline we expect every week (more is always welcome): 3 pieces of original video content, scheduled and posted across all platforms (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook) Daily posts on each platform (a mix of video, photo, and story content) 2 pieces of funny, trend-driven content to drive viewership and engagement Of course, we'll always accept more — we want a creator who pushes past the minimum What We're Looking For A portfolio, personal account, or client work that proves you can create scroll-stopping short-form video Strong eye for shot composition, lighting, and pacing — even when filming on a phone Fluent in CapCut, Adobe Premiere, or similar editing tools Deep understanding of TikTok and Instagram algorithms, trends, and audio culture Comfortable occasionally filming on a job site — customer homes, work trucks, equipment, etc.

The Details Schedule:

Part-time, 15-25 hours per week with flexible scheduling

$25/hour
