- but you will need the curiosity, initiative, and drive to learn quickly and bring yourself up to speed.
What You Bring:

- how flavors balance, why a technique matters, and what makes one version better than another.
Culinary fluency is non-negotiable for this role You're also fluent in social media: You understand what makes content work, pay attention to how platforms and trends are evolving, and understand what people want to watch, save, share, and engage with You're a strong writer: You can learn and fluently communicate in an established brand voice that's warm, conversational, and food-obsessed You think strategically about content: You know how to bring an idea to life and have a point of view on how to package it, where it belongs, and why it's worth making You're comfortable working in person during production and excited to give clear, real-time creative direction Working Style You bring ideas and initiative rather than waiting to be told what to do You take full ownership of your work and see ideas through from conception to completion You naturally bring structure to ambiguous or open-ended situations, identifying next steps and moving things forward You anticipate what you'll need to execute—whether that's research, assets, a script, a shot list, an approval, or 15 minutes with our founder—and get ahead of it You aren't intimidated by something you don't know how to do yet
- you'll research it, learn it, and ask smart questions You're comfortable making decisions independently and know when something actually needs input from the rest of the team You communicate clearly, stay steady when priorities shift, and reliably close the loop without needing reminders Great If You Have It Hands-on experience creating social content is greatly preferred
- particularly short-form video, editing, voiceovers, static posts, carousels, Stories, and captions.
Experience with social analytics, affiliate marketing, Asana, Later, Meta Business Suite, or similar tools is also a plus! How to Apply Submit your resume with a cover letter telling us why you think you'd be a great fit.
In the cover letter:
If you have relevant work to share, please include 2-3 samples that best represent what you can do (they don't need to be food-focused). For one, briefly tell us about the thinking behind it
- why you chose that format or approach and what you were trying to accomplish.
If you don't have relevant samples, pick 3 social posts from food creators that stand out to you and tell us why. And because we obviously need to know, tell us about the best meal you've had recently! Salary and Benefits Full-time, W-2 position: This is a 40-hour-per-week role. Hybrid +
