Social Media Content Creator - Border Martial Arts Academy Border Martial Arts Academy | Collierville, TN Border Martial Arts Academy is looking for a creative, energetic, and driven Content Creator to help us grow our brand and showcase our academy, students, coaches, athletes, and community across social media. We are a growing martial arts academy offering Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Kickboxing, MMA, and martial arts programs for kids and adults . Our academy has a strong team culture, competitive athletes, championship-level results, and a family-oriented environment. We are looking for someone who can capture that energy and turn it into content that people want to watch, share, and engage with. What You'll Do Film high-quality video and photos at the academy Create engaging content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and other platforms Capture daily classes, student highlights, promotions, competitions, events, and behind-the-scenes moments Edit short-form videos/Reels/TikToks with strong hooks, captions, music, and transitions Help create content that promotes our kids, adult, beginner, and competition programs Develop creative ideas for videos and social media campaigns Create athlete spotlights, student testimonials, coach features, and promotional content Help maintain a consistent posting schedule Work with the academy leadership to develop monthly content ideas and campaigns Stay current with social media trends and identify opportunities to increase engagement Help grow the academy's online presence and generate interest in our programs Occasionally attend tournaments, academy events, and special events to capture content What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is: Creative and energetic Comfortable filming people and interacting with students and families Experienced with social media content creation Comfortable shooting and editing short-form video Familiar with Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube Able to create content that feels authentic rather than overly corporate Reliable and able to work independently Comfortable working in a fast-paced martial arts environment Able to recognize a good story or video opportunity when they see it Willing to get involved and understand the culture of the academy Experience With These Tools Is a Plus CapCut Adobe Premiere Pro Adobe Photoshop Canva Instagram/TikTok editing tools DSLR/mirrorless cameras Smartphone videography Social media analytics A strong portfolio of previous social media work is preferred. The Right Person for This Position We're not looking for someone who simply wants to sit behind a computer and schedule posts. We want someone who will be part of the academy , walk around the mats, talk to students, capture real moments, find stories, and create content that represents who we are. You should be comfortable around kids, adults, athletes, coaches, and families. You should also understand that the best content doesn't always happen when everything is perfect. Sometimes it's the kid who finally gets his first stripe. The beginner who comes back for his second class. The competitor who loses and gets back on the mat. The team celebrating a championship. The coach helping a student through a difficult moment. Those are the moments we want to capture. Schedule This position requires regular on-site presence at our Collierville, TN academy . Some flexibility is available, but candidates should be available during peak academy hours and occasional evenings/weekends for tournaments and special events.
