Play-Based Wellness Behavioral Health PLLC Allen, TX Part-Time | 15-20 hours per week | Primarily In-Person About Play-Based Wellness Play-Based Wellness Behavioral Health (PBW) is a growing pediatric behavioral health practice in Allen, Texas serving young children and families through play-based, naturalistic, and relationship-centered care. Our clinic is colorful, playful, creative, and intentionally different from a traditional clinical environment. We believe children learn best through connection, play, and meaningful interactions—and we want our social media presence to actually reflect that. We are looking for a creative, highly social-media-savvy Social Media & Content Coordinator to help bring the PBW brand to life on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and other digital platforms. This is not a role for someone who simply schedules generic graphics. We are looking for someone who understands what makes people stop scrolling, knows how to create engaging short-form video, has a strong visual eye, and can capture the personality and energy of our clinic. What You'll Do You will own the day-to-day social media and content creation for PBW, including: Create, film, edit, and publish Instagram Reels, TikToks, Stories, and other short-form content Spend time inside our Allen clinic capturing authentic content with our team, environment, activities, trainings, and events Develop a consistent weekly and monthly content calendar Turn clinical and educational ideas from our leadership and clinicians into engaging, easy-to-understand content Help build recurring PBW content series and recognizable social media themes Create content highlighting our play-based approach, clinic environment, team culture, parent education, community events, and clinical philosophy Write captions that sound human, warm, knowledgeable, and consistent with the PBW brand Identify appropriate social media trends, sounds, formats, hooks, and content opportunities Edit videos using platforms such as CapCut, Canva, Adobe, or similar tools Create engaging Instagram Stories throughout the week Repurpose content across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and other platforms Help develop content featuring PBW leadership and clinicians Photograph and film clinic spaces, staff activities, events, trainings, and other approved content Monitor social media performance and identify which content performs best Track basic metrics including reach, engagement, follower growth, video views, saves, shares, and inquiries Keep PBW's visual branding and voice consistent across social channels Collaborate with leadership to ensure clinical information is accurate and appropriate before publishing Follow all PBW privacy, consent, and confidentiality requirements when creating content The Type of Content We Want to Create We want our social platforms to show families what PBW actually feels like.

Who We're Looking For You may be a great fit if you: Genuinely love TikTok, Instagram, Reels, and short-form content Understand what makes a video engaging within the first few seconds Are comfortable filming and directing other people Know how to make people feel natural on camera Have a strong eye for aesthetics, lighting, composition, and branding Can take a rough idea and turn it into an actual piece of content Are comfortable working independently and taking ownership of a content calendar Stay current on social media trends without making every post feel trendy or forced Write naturally and understand how brands should communicate online Are organized enough to consistently plan, film, edit, and publish Are excited about working around children, clinicians, and a busy pediatric environment Can accept feedback and quickly adjust content Understand that healthcare content requires more discretion and privacy awareness than traditional lifestyle content Preferred Experience We would especially love to meet candidates with experience in: Social media management Content creation TikTok or Instagram Reels Video editing Photography or videography Healthcare Pediatric therapy Wellness Child development Education Childcare Lifestyle or service-based brands A marketing degree is not required . We care much more about whether you can actually create excellent content. Portfolio Required Please include examples of social media content you have personally created.

Because much of our best content happens inside the clinic, this position will require regular in-person time at our Allen, Texas location. Some editing, scheduling, planning, and administrative content work may be completed remotely. Availability during normal weekday clinic hours is important.
