Exempt Job Summary Were looking for a highly creative, Digital Content Creator to support the Director of Social Media in executing a best-in-class content engine. This is a hands-on role focused on creating and managing social-first content, including video, photography, and supporting blog content. This role is ideal for a strong visual storyteller who can plan, shoot, edit, and publish engaging, social-first content across channels.

Youll play a key role in bringing campaigns to life, elevating brand presence across the U.S. and Canada, and supporting franchisees in building their local social presence. This role requires a balance of creative execution and professionalism, with the ability to operate effectively within a regulated industry.

Responsibilities/DutiesContent Planning & ExecutionExecute against monthly social content calendarsCreate platform-specific content for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and moreAlign content with brand campaigns, seasonal moments, and business goalsUse insights from social listening tools to inform content ideas and optimize performance Content Creation Create social-first content from concept to publish, including scripting, filming, editing, and postingCapture high-quality video and photography using professional equipment and mobile devicesApply strong shooting techniques (lighting, framing, audio, composition)Edit engaging, platform-native videos using tools such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro and CapCutSelect appropriate audio, music, and sound design to enhance video performanceCreate supporting graphics and visual assets using tools such as Adobe Illustrator and AI design platforms (e.g., Freepik) Creative & StorytellingWork with experts to translate tax related content into clear, engaging, and shareable contentWrite video scripts and develop compelling storylines for short-form and long-form contentBring fresh, trend-aware ideas to continuously improve performanceUtilize AI tools to enhance ideation and content developmentPartner with SOCi to create and maintain AI generated post calendarDemonstrate intermediate graphic design skills, including typography and visual composition Franchisee Partnership & SupportCommunicate with franchisees to help them succeed on social media locallyShare content ideas and best practices with franchisees for local useSupport franchise development initiatives through social contentSupport the adoption and effective use of social tools (e.g., SOCi) across locations Publishing, Outreach & Community SupportSchedule and publish content across all social platforms, update franchisee marketing calendarSupport social outreach, engagement, and community interactionAssist in responding to comments, messages, and brand mentionsSupport blog strategy by publishing website content, maintaining existing posts, and generating new blog ideas that align with SEO best practices and overall marketing objectives Compliance & Cross-Functional CollaborationWork closely with Tax Compliance and Legal teams to ensure all content meets regulatory and brand standardsMaintain accuracy and ensure content follows established compliance processes and approvalsCollaborate closely with the Creative Director, Chief Marketing Officer, and cross-functional teamsSupport real-time content needs, campaign launches, and brand initiativesMonitor and review franchisee-created content for alignment with brand standards and compliance requirements; identify opportunities for content repurposing and support approval processes as needed Performance Tracking & ReportingMonitor content performance and platform analyticsTrack content performance and contribute to monthly reportingUse tools like SOCi and social listening platforms to track, analyze, and optimize content performance On-Site Content & Event CoverageAttend and capture content at company events, franchise office visits, interviews, and internal eventsProduce both video and photography content in real-time and for post-production useQualifications 24 years of experience in social media content creation or digital marketingProven experience in video production (filming + editing)Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, Lightroom), graphic design tools, and design resources (e.g., Freepik)Strong understanding of typography, layout, and visual storytellingHands-on experience with Mirrorless Cameras and professional video equipmentExperience with social scheduling and management toolsStrong scripting, storytelling, and audio selection skills for video contentAbility to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environmentFamiliarity with social listening tools to support content decisionsExperience with AI-powered creative tools (e.g., Gemini, ChatGPT, generative design/video tools)Familiarity with design and asset platforms (e.g. Freepik, Final Cut Pro, or CapCut, Envato, etc.) Experience with social listening and analytics tools (e.g. SOCi, Sprout Social, Meltwater, etc.) Strong understanding of short-form video editing styles and platform trends (TikTok, Reels)Experience working in a regulated industryEducation and ExperienceBachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.2+ years of experience in social media management, with a track record of developing successful social campaigns.
