Job Description
Social Media & Content Coordinator Peak Pest Control | Ogden / Marriott-Slaterville, UT | Part-time, about 20 hours per week | $18.00-$22.00 per hour About the Role Peak Pest Control is a growing northern Utah pest control company, and we are investing seriously in our brand and our content. We are hiring a Social Media & Content Coordinator to take full ownership of our social channels. Full ownership means the whole process, start to finish: brainstorm the idea, film it, edit it, post it. You will not be handed a finished asset and asked to schedule it. You will be the person who decides what we film this week, shows up with a camera, cuts it together, and gets it live. You will work directly with our Marketing Manager, who sets the overall strategy and provides direction and feedback. You do not need to be a seasoned marketing pro, but you do need to be someone who can run with an idea and finish it without being managed step by step. What You'll Do Create the content Come up with ideas for reels, shorts, and posts, and bring them to the table regularly Film in the field with our technicians and with our owner Film content for our website and for internal training videos Edit short-form video for social and longer-form video for training and web use Create content for paid ads Run the channels Post daily across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube Build and maintain the content calendar Grow engagement and following, and report back on what is working and what is not Keep it consistent and organized Maintain brand consistency across every platform, in both editing style and visuals Keep all footage and assets organized in our cloud storage so anything can be found later Hit deadlines reliably What We're Looking For Hands-on experience creating and posting social content, personal or business Real fluency with Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube, including how reach and engagement work on each Comfortable filming other people, including technicians on the job and our owner Video editing ability, or enough foundation to get good quickly. Canva, CapCut, Adobe, or similar. Ideas. We want someone who brings concepts to us, not someone waiting for a shot list. Takes direction and feedback well Organized and detail oriented. Files get named and filed, deadlines get met, nothing gets lost. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Nice to Have Experience running social for a business or brand Meta Ads Manager or other paid social experience Photography experience Longer-form video editing for YouTube or training content Schedule and Location This is an in person role based out of our Marriott-Slaterville office, just outside Ogden. About 20 hours per week, with specific days and hours set with your manager. Field filming takes place during business hours alongside our technicians. Compensation $18.00-$22.00 per hour, depending on experience. How to Apply Resume required Examples of your work strongly encouraged. Reels, shorts, edits, or personal accounts are all fine. We care more about what you have made than where it was posted.
