We are seeking a hands-on IT Team Assistant Lead to manage, maintain, and continuously improve our B2B e-commerce platform and related technology systems. This position will lead internal and external developers, coordinate technical projects, troubleshoot platform issues, and ensure that our website, integrations, and infrastructure remain secure, reliable, and scalable.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the day-to-day operation of our B2B e-commerce platform Lead developers, contractors, and other IT resources Plan projects, assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure deadlines are met Troubleshoot website, checkout, pricing, product, search, and account-related issues Manage integrations between the e-commerce platform, SAP Business One, payment systems, email services, analytics tools, and other applications Oversee product synchronization, inventory availability, customer pricing, credit limits, budgets, and approval workflows Maintain cloud infrastructure, databases, backups, deployments, and system security Manage development, testing, staging, and production environments Establish QA, documentation, change-management, and incident-response procedures Monitor website performance, uptime, errors, and cybersecurity risks Evaluate vendors and recommend practical technology improvements Provide regular project and system-status reports to management
Current Technology Environment:
Medusa.js and modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks AWS and DigitalOcean MongoDB Coolify and CI/CD deployment workflows SAP Business One integration Meilisearch Supabase, Resend, and other third-party APIs GA4, Google Tag Manager, and e-commerce tracking tools
Required Qualifications:
Experience managing an e-commerce platform or web application Strong understanding of APIs, databases, cloud hosting, and system integrations Experience leading developers or managing technical projects Ability to investigate technical problems and coordinate effective solutions Understanding of cybersecurity, backups, access control, and data protection Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills Ability to explain technical matters clearly to nontechnical management and users Strong ownership mindset and ability to work independently
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with B2B e-commerce, ERP systems, or SAP Business One Experience with Medusa.js, Node.js, React/Next.js, or TypeScript Familiarity with AWS, DigitalOcean, MongoDB, Git, and CI/CD Experience with product catalogs, customer-specific pricing, approval workflows, and online payment systems Experience managing offshore or external development teams
Pay:
$45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
