Auction Inventory Assistant

Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in inventorying and photographing items to be sold in an online estate sale auction and distribution of sold items after the auction closes. The right candidate for this position will have working knowledge of product photography for online sales (think eBay, Etsy, etc) and be able to organize items shot so that we can quickly and efficiently locate them for the pickup day. Background in antiques, collectibles, etc is not required by desired and there is some heavy lifting. Duties Photograph items both in house and on site at seller's home to be sold in online estate auction. Put items into lots when needed to reach value goals for auction. Organize items, once shot, on shelves or in seller's home in a manner that they are easily identified later on. Pull orders and organize items for buyer pickup. Give items sold to buyers at pickup. Requirements Practical working experience in item photography. Proficient in organization so that items are easily located once sold. Customer service experience is a plus for buyer pickups. Knowledge of collectibles, antiques, household goods and items to be sold online a plus. Auctions are typically on site at seller's home within an hour of our warehouse. We also do auctions in house each month. Clean driving record

Pay:

$20.00 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 25.0 - 30.0 per week
