Job Description

Security Sporting Goods is looking for a highly organized, dependable, and detail-oriented Team Sales & Uniform Coordinator / Administrative Assistant to join our team. This position will work closely with our Director of Marketing & Web Sales and will primarily be responsible for coordinating our team uniform business. We are looking for someone who can take ownership of an order once a customer is ready to move forward and make sure every detail is handled correctly—from collecting rosters and sizes to placing orders, tracking shipments, communicating with customers, checking completed uniforms, and handling fill-in orders. Our ideal candidate is someone who enjoys organization, communicates well, notices small details, follows through without needing constant reminders, and is comfortable managing several projects at once. Graphic design experience is not required. Uniform designs and the creative direction of the department will continue to be handled separately. This position is focused on organization, customer communication, order management, and follow-through. Responsibilities Serve as the primary point of contact for customers after their uniform design/order has been approved Communicate professionally with coaches, schools, organizations, and individual customers Collect and organize rosters, sizes, player names, numbers, quantities, and other order information Review orders carefully for missing or conflicting information before submission Place uniform and team apparel orders with vendors Track outstanding orders and monitor deadlines Keep customers updated on order status and expected completion Coordinate fill-in and add-on orders, including additional uniforms, pants, socks, belts, and other team items Check incoming uniforms against approved rosters and orders for accuracy Help resolve routine uniform issues and communicate larger issues to management when necessary Maintain organized records of active, completed, and outstanding orders Answer uniform-related phone calls, emails, and messages Assist with special customer orders Help with other administrative and store-related tasks as needed What We're Looking For The right person for this position will be extremely detail-oriented . Uniform orders involve names, numbers, sizes, colors, quantities, deadlines, and multiple vendors, so accuracy is incredibly important. We are looking for someone who is dependable, organized, comfortable speaking with customers, confident using computers, able to learn new software, and capable of prioritizing tasks without becoming overwhelmed when several things are happening at once. Most importantly, we want someone who takes ownership of their work . We don't expect you to know our uniform business on day one—we will train you. We do expect you to become someone we can trust to see an order through from beginning to end. Qualifications Previous experience in administrative work, order management, customer service, team sports, retail, school/office administration, or a similar role is preferred but not required. Applicants should have strong written and verbal communication skills, basic computer proficiency, excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
