Live Seller Manager — VOA Michigan Position Summary Join VOA Michigan MI Thrift in growing its online selling business. Become an influencer of the VOA Michigan brand and the wonderful work that we do to support veterans, seniors and families! The Live Seller Manager will be responsible for managing and growing the organization's live-selling business while also serving as the primary on-camera Live Seller . This position will host live sales, engage customers, showcase merchandise, drive revenue, and oversee the development and performance of additional Live Sellers as the program grows. The ideal candidate is an energetic, confident salesperson who is comfortable on camera and can balance hands-on selling with team leadership and operational responsibilities. Key Responsibilities Live Selling Serve as the primary on-camera Live Seller and host regularly scheduled live events. Present and sell merchandise while engaging directly with customers. Build and grow a loyal online shopping audience. Create an energetic, professional, and engaging live-shopping experience. Use sales techniques to increase conversion, units sold, and average order value. Ensure a quality and fast paced viewer experience. Merchandise, Inventory & Fulfillment Develop show infrastructure by loading shop, developing schedule, creating thumbnails, suggesting starting prices, and promoting shows. Coordinate with warehouse and merchandising teams to select products for live sales. Ensure merchandise is organized, inspected, and ready for each event. Track merchandise sold and ensure inventory is accurately reconciled. Ensure all merchandise sold during live events is properly processed, packaged, and mailed to customers the following business day. Monitor fulfillment to ensure orders are accurate and shipped on time. Identify excess or high-potential inventory for live-selling opportunities. Customer Service, Sales & Growth Respond to all customer service inquiries and messages within 24 hours. Develop a strategy for increasing sales with curated shows, promotions, show cadence. Track sales, units sold, conversion, average order value, engagement, and sell-through. Prepare regular performance reports and identify opportunities for improvement. Work with marketing and e-commerce teams to promote live events. Identify new platforms, promotions, and strategies to grow the live-selling business. Team Management (with growth) Recruit, train, schedule, and coach additional supporting staff. Establish sales goals and monitor individual and team performance. Provide ongoing feedback and training to improve sales and customer engagement. Ensure seller is prepared with merchandise and promotions. Qualifications 2+ years of experience in retail, e-commerce, sales, social commerce, or live selling, preferred. Previous supervisory or management experience, preferred. Must be comfortable and confident serving as an on-camera Live Seller. Reliable transportation Strong sales, communication, presentation, and customer-service skills. Energetic, outgoing, and comfortable engaging with an online audience. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Experience with platforms such as Whatnot, TikTok Shop, Facebook/Instagram Live, or similar platforms. Experience with thrift, resale, fashion, collectibles, or secondhand merchandise is a plus. Ability to work evenings and weekends, as needed. Success in This Role Success will be measured by the growth and profitability of the live-selling channel , including sales revenue, inventory sell-through, customer engagement, audience growth, fulfillment accuracy, timely shipping, and the performance of the Live Seller team. The Live Seller Manager is expected to be a hands-on leader who sells, coaches, fulfills orders, analyzes performance, and continuously identifies opportunities to grow the business.
