As Employee #1, you will own the day-to-day operations, inventory control, and serialization compliance from the ground floor. This is a foundational, "player-coach" role. To start, you will not have a team to delegate to—you will be rolling up your sleeves to execute every single step of the fulfillment process yourself. We are actively transitioning to a modern, highly automated, low-touch system, and you will be the primary architect responsible for implementing, testing, and refining that system. Crucially, your operations will serve as the engine that empowers our R D and Sales teams to scale the brand. If they don't succeed, we don't grow. We are seeking our first full-time, founding teammate to personally execute and scale our day-to-day warehouse logistics, e-commerce fulfillment, and serialized ATF compliance. This hands-on "player-coach" role offers a highly competitive salary, over 5 weeks of PTO, and performance bonuses for a process-driven builder ready to anchor our operational growth. As our founding operational teammate, your financial upside is directly tied to the efficiency and growth of Detroit Gun Works. This position includes a performance-based bonus program paid out quarterly, with payouts tied to three clear milestones:
System Milestones:
Successful transition to and execution of our upcoming tech-driven, e-commerce low-touch inventory and fulfillment workflow.
Accuracy Metrics:
Maintaining a flawless, 100% compliant serialized tracking and ATF record-keeping record.
Sales Enablement:
Effectively meeting shipping SLAs to seamlessly support the volume generated by our Sales team.

Directly manage and execute the physical product supermarket for all parts and assemblies. Pull tags, update quantities weekly, and restock the floor to ensure production and R D never stall. •
System Transition & Optimization:
Partner closely with leadership to transition our current processes into a streamlined, tech-driven, low-touch e-commerce fulfillment system. Identify bottlenecks and build repeatable digital workflows. •
R D and Sales Enablement:
Act as a critical partner to the R D and Sales pipelines. Ensure prototypes, new components, and online sales orders are expedited, accurately tracked, and given the rapid operational support required to drive brand growth. •
Flawless Serialized Compliance:
Take absolute ownership of Federal Firearms License (FFL) rules and regulations. Follow all company and legal procedures for handling, storing, tracking, and shipping serialized components. Personally facilitate all necessary paperwork for proper digital and physical transfers. •
Premium Packing & Shipping:
Personally pack all rifles and components securely, ensuring a premium, e-commerce unboxing experience that guarantees damage-free and highly professional presentation to our customers. •
Facility Ownership:
Maintain absolute cleanliness, safety, and tight organization across all production, assembly, and digital storage areas.

Licensing:
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. 5.
Physical Demands:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and remain active on the warehouse floor daily.
Pay:
$65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
