Job Description
Position Summary The Digital Commerce Specialist is responsible for overseeing and growing the company's online sales channels, including ecommerce websites, Amazon marketplaces, and other digital selling platforms. This role manages the day-to-day operation of ecommerce systems while identifying new opportunities to increase online revenue, improve customer experience, and streamline order processing through integrated business systems. Working closely with sales, marketing, customer service, and operations, the Digital Commerce Manager ensures digital channels operate efficiently and support the company's strategic growth objectives. Primary Responsibilities Manage and maintain multiple ecommerce websites for building material and construction products. Administer and optimize Amazon Seller Central accounts, including both Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) and Fulfillment by Merchant (FBM) operations. Develop and execute strategies to increase online sales across all digital channels. Optimize product listings, pricing, content, images, keywords, and merchandising to improve visibility and conversion rates. Monitor ecommerce performance through analytics and develop recommendations to improve traffic, conversion, and profitability. Coordinate with marketing to support SEO initiatives and digital advertising campaigns. Manage order flow and system integrations utilizing TrueCommerce EDI and NetSuite ERP. Troubleshoot ecommerce, marketplace, and EDI-related issues while coordinating with software vendors and internal stakeholders. Ensure product data accuracy across websites, marketplaces, and ERP systems. Monitor marketplace performance metrics, customer feedback, and account health. Develop reporting and KPIs related to ecommerce sales, marketplace performance, and digital channel growth. Stay current on ecommerce trends, marketplace policies, and emerging digital sales opportunities. Qualifications 3+ years of ecommerce or digital commerce experience. Experience managing Amazon Seller Central, including FBA and FBM. Experience administering ecommerce platforms such as Nexternal, Shopify, and Wix Experience with EDI platforms, preferably TrueCommerce. Experience working with ERP systems, preferably NetSuite. Strong analytical skills with experience using ecommerce reporting and analytics. Excellent organizational and project management skills. Strong communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally. Preferred Qualifications Understanding of EDI documentation and automations, preferably TrueCommerce Familiarity with additional online marketplaces (Walmart Marketplace, eBay, Home Depot Marketplace, Lowe's Marketplace, etc.). Knowledge of digital marketing, PPC, and marketplace advertising.
