We are seeking an organized, self-motivated, and customer-focused professional to support our growing digital sales initiatives while managing key retail accounts and helping streamline the way we do business with our customers. Position Overview The E-Commerce Operations & Sales Specialist will play a critical role in supporting and expanding Kurt Weiss Greenhouses' business with national retail partners. This position focuses on developing and managing B2B online sales programs, coordinating customer-specific ordering platforms, maintaining digital product catalogs, and ensuring a seamless customer experience from product setup through order fulfillment. Working closely with Sales, Production, Marketing, Inventory, and Operations, this individual will help strengthen relationships with existing customers while supporting the development of new digital sales opportunities. Major Areas of Responsibility Serve as a primary contact and maintain strong relationships with key retail customers and e-commerce partners. Develop, launch, and manage online sales programs for new and existing national retail partners. Coordinate customer product assortments, seasonal programs, inventory availability, pricing, and order requirements. Coordinate and maintain product setup, pricing, photography, descriptions, and digital assets across customer platforms. Support the sales team with customer communications, reporting, forecasting, and account coordination. Collaborate with Production, Inventory, Logistics, Marketing, and Customer Service to ensure customer expectations and program deadlines are met. Monitor customer requests and proactively resolve issues to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. Analyze sales performance and customer data to identify opportunities for growth and process improvement. Recommend and implement process improvements that enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.

Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, Horticulture, or a related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in account management, sales operations, e-commerce or wholesale sales support.
  • Experience in horticulture, agriculture or related fields is preferred.
  • Experience working with large retail accounts, wholesale customers, or national retailers is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and customer service skills.
  • Strong organizational, project management, and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn and navigate customer portals, e-commerce platforms, ERP systems, and other business software.
  • Experience with retailer portals, EDI systems, product information management (PIM) platforms, or digital merchandising tools is a plus.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, seasonal environment.
