27Aug26 Position Summary The E-commerce & Centralized Purchasing Manager owns the end-to-end lifecycle of the company's product supply, from strategic sourcing to online sales execution. This dual-focus role is responsible for optimizing the online storefront to drive digital revenue while managing centralized purchasing and inventory control to ensure seamless stock availability across all company channels.
Key Responsibilities E-commerce & Digital Storefront Management Storefront Optimization:
Oversee the daily operations of the online store, ensuring accurate product listings, pricing, promotions, and high-quality visual merchandising.
Customer Experience:
Monitor website performance, user journeys, and checkout flows to maximize conversion rates and minimize cart abandonment.
Digital Marketing Support:
Collaborate with the marketing team to align online inventory with digital campaigns, product launches, and seasonal promotions.
Performance Analytics:
Track and report on key e-commerce metrics, including traffic, average order value (AOV), sales revenue, and customer acquisition costs.
Develop and execute a centralized purchasing strategy that leverages company-wide buying power to negotiate favorable terms, pricing, and volume discounts with vendors.
Vendor Management:
Identify, vet, and maintain relationships with current suppliers, including dropship vendors. Evaluate vendor performance regularly based on delivery timelines, product quality, and cost.
Purchase Order Execution:
Oversee the creation, approval, and tracking of all purchase orders, ensuring timely delivery to prevent stockouts.
Cost Control:
Monitor market trends and fluctuating material costs to identify cost-saving opportunities and maintain healthy profit margins.
Merchandise Inventory Control Inventory Forecasting:
Utilize historical sales data, market trends, and promotional schedules to forecast demand and establish optimal stock levels.
System Auditing:
Maintain absolute data integrity within the Inventory Management System (IMS) or ERP, conducting regular physical counts and reconciling discrepancies.
Turnover Optimization:
Monitor inventory health metrics (e.g., sell-through rates, weeks of supply) and implement markdown strategies for slow-moving or obsolete stock.
Cross-Functional Logistics:
Coordinate with warehousing, logistics, and fulfillment teams to streamline receiving processes and ensure efficient distribution.
Required Qualifications Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field. Equivalent years of experience will be considered.
Experience:
4+ years of experience managing an e-commerce platform alongside hands-on experience in centralized purchasing or inventory management.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, and Web Analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics). Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are required.

Physical Requirements Ability to lift and transport IT equipment weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to work in office, retail, warehouse, and event environments.
