Job Description
Chip Theory Games is seeking a full-time specialist who will manage email marketing and design digital assets for crowdfunding, e-commerce, and other marketing functions. In addition to those responsibilities, they will assemble press kits, build advertising campaigns, and assist with social media content. For Chip Theorys email marketing, this position will manage, design, and schedule the weekly newsletter and other e-mail messaging. They will work to acquire new customers and retain existing ones, using traditional marketing strategies while also exploring new ones. For digital design, this position will be involved in all areas of asset creation for the marketing department from e-commerce on the website to crowdfunding campaigns. Experience and expertise in Adobe Creative Suite is mandatory. The ideal candidate will have an extensive background with email marketing platforms (Shopify, Mailchimp, Klaviyo, etc.) as well as an understanding of e-commerce and digital marketing. Candidates should be highly self-motivated and ready to take significant ownership of their role. Natural marketing instincts such as the ability to write a compelling call to action, understanding of what makes Chip Theory products special, and ability to analyze a calendar to determine timing of marketing images and messaging are a huge plus. This position is intended to be in-office four days a week during normal business hours, with one optional work-from-home day each week. This role reports directly to the Chief Marketing Officer.
