$60,000-$70,000 annually, based on experience About the Role We are seeking an E-Commerce Account Manager to manage and grow customer-facing e-commerce programs within the promotional products industry. This role combines e-commerce management, client relationship management, business development, and project coordination . The ideal candidate is comfortable working directly with customers while coordinating with internal teams to ensure online stores, products, orders, and customer programs run smoothly. Experience working with Shopify or similar e-commerce platforms is strongly preferred. Key Responsibilities Manage and support customer e-commerce stores and online programs Build, maintain, and update Shopify stores and product catalogs Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned customers Develop strong client relationships and understand customer business needs Assist with launching new customer stores and e-commerce programs Coordinate with internal departments including sales, customer service, operations, IT, and product teams Manage product setup, pricing, content, images, collections, and merchandising Troubleshoot customer and store issues and coordinate their resolution Monitor store performance and identify opportunities to improve the customer experience Support business development efforts and identify opportunities to expand existing accounts Participate in customer meetings, presentations, and program reviews Manage multiple customer projects and priorities simultaneously Ensure projects, launches, and customer requests are completed accurately and on schedule Qualifications Previous experience in e-commerce, online store management, account management, or a related role Experience with Shopify or another major e-commerce platform Strong customer-facing and relationship-management skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational and project-management abilities Comfortable managing multiple accounts, projects, and deadlines Ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, e-commerce, communications, or a related field preferred Experience in the promotional products, branded merchandise, apparel, or related industry Experience managing B2B or company e-commerce stores Shopify administration experience Experience with product data, catalogs, SKUs, pricing, and inventory Experience with CRM, ERP, project-management, or ticketing systems Experience with account management, customer success, or business development Familiarity with e-commerce reporting and analytics What Success Looks Like A successful E-Commerce Account Manager will take ownership of customer programs from initial setup through ongoing management. You will understand both the customer's business needs and the operational details required to make their e-commerce program successful . You should be comfortable talking with customers, solving problems, coordinating internally, identifying opportunities for growth, and taking responsibility for getting things done.
Compensation & Work Environment Salary:
$60,000-$70,000 annually, depending on experience
