$22/hour based on experience About Us We're a fast-growing e-commerce retailer specializing in premium resort wear and lifestyle brands (Tommy Bahama, Olukai, Birkenstock, Ray-Ban) . We launched a few months ago and have already listed over 1,500 products and revenue is climbing. Here's the situation: 90% of our sales are happening on eBay. Our Shopify store gets traffic, but people aren't converting. The inventory is there, the demand is proven on eBay•we just need someone who knows how to turn website visitors into buyers. The Problem We Need You to Solve People want what we're selling (eBay proves that every day) They're just not buying it on our website. We think it's a combination of trust, urgency, and shoppability issues•but we need someone with the experience to diagnose exactly what's broken and fix it. Your job is to make BeachToBLVD.com perform like our eBay store does, and then help u expand to Amazon, Walmart, TikTok and all other relevant integrations What You'll Be Responsible For 1. Website Optimization & Backend Improvements Clean up and organize our Shopify product catalog Improve site speed and mobile performance Fix navigation and search functionality so customers can actually find what they want Set up proper analytics tracking (Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, conversion tracking) Implement SEO fundamentals (meta descriptions, alt tags, URL structure) Install and configure apps that drive conversions (email capture, reviews, urgency triggers, etc.) 2. Customer-Facing Experience & Trust-Building Redesign product pages to build confidence and reduce hesitation Add trust signals: customer reviews, clear return policy, security badges, about us story Improve product photography presentation Create urgency elements (low stock alerts, time-sensitive offers, social proof) Build landing pages for email and ad campaigns Set up email marketing automation (abandoned cart recovery, welcome series, post-purchase follow-up) A/B test page elements to improve conversion rate 3. Paid Advertising (Google, Meta, Pinterest) Launch and manage Google Shopping campaigns (primary focus•highest intent buyers) Set up Meta (Facebook/Instagram) ads for retargeting and cold traffic acquisition Test Pinterest advertising Monitor and optimize for 4:1+ ROAS (Return on Ad Spend) Scale campaigns that work, kill campaigns that don't Manage ad creative or provide direction on what's needed Build audience segments and lookalike audiences based on our eBay customer data Weekly performance reporting with clear next steps 4. Expand store to Walmart.com Amazon, TikTok Shop and other marketplaces What We're Looking For We need someone who has actually done this before , who can teach us while they execute.Required Experience:
Proven track record optimizing Shopify stores (show us real before/after results) Hands-on experience managing Google Shopping campaigns with measurable ROAS Experience running Meta (Facebook/Instagram) ads with conversion tracking and retargeting Strong understanding of e-commerce conversion optimization (you know why people abandon carts and how to fix it) Proficiency with Google Analytics and data-driven decision making Ability to work independently•we'll set goals and budget, you determine how to achieve them Strong communication skills•you can explain what you're doing and why it matters in plain terms Preferred (But Not Required): Experience with fashion/apparel/athletic wear e-commerce Email marketing platform experience (Klaviyo, Mailchimp, Shopify Email) SEO and content strategy background Pinterest Ads experience Basic design skills for ad creative (Canva, Figma, Photoshop) Familiarity with eBay, Amazon or other marketplace platformsWhat We Offer Compensation:
$22/hour based on demonstrated experience and results Opportunity for performance bonuses as revenue scales Part-time to start (20-30 hours/week) with growth to full-time as business scalesWork Environment:
Hybrid schedule: 2-3 days per week in our Tierra Verde office, remainder remote Flexible hours•we care about outcomes, not when you're working Direct collaboration with founder•fast decisions, no corporate bureaucracyGrowth Opportunity:
Ground floor role in a profitable, fast-growing business Autonomy to test strategies and implement what works Potential to lead marketing function and eventually build a team as we scale Build your portfolio with documented results in a growth environment Why This Role Matters Most e-commerce jobs involve fighting uphill against bad inventory, poor operations, or dysfunctional teams. This is different. We have:
Inventory people want (eBay proves it•90% of our sales happen there) Solid operations (fast shipping, accurate listings, good customer service) Capital to invest in growth (no budget constraints) Founder who knows retail operations but needs e-commerce expertise You're not fixing a broken business. You're unlocking a working one that just needs the right digital strategy. This Role Isn't Right If:
You're still learning e-commerce fundamentals (we need proven experience) You need detailed direction for every task (we need strategic thinking and initiative) You can't demonstrate measurable results from past work You're not comfortable with the hybrid Tierra Verde schedule You prefer environments with established playbooks (we're building the playbook together)This Role Is Perfect If:
You've successfully grown Shopify revenue through conversion optimization and paid advertising You enjoy diagnosing why a site isn't converting and implementing solutions You're comfortable with data, testing, and iterating based on results You want meaningful autonomy and the ability to implement your ideas quickly You're looking to be part of building something rather than maintaining something You can teach while you execute (we're invested in learning, not just outsourcing) The Opportunity We have everything needed to build a $500K/year e-commerce business: Premium inventory with proven demand Strong operations and customer service Capital ready to deploy into profitable marketing Founder committed to growth and learning What we're missing is someone with deep e-commerce marketing expertise who can optimize our Shopify store, build customer trust, and run profitable advertising campaigns. If that's you, we'd like to hear from you.Pay:
From $22.00 per hourBenefits:
Employee discount Flexible schedule Application Question(s): Share a specific Shopify store you've optimized — what was the conversion rate before and after, and what were the 2-3 changes that moved the needle most? Walk us through a Google Shopping campaign you managed. What was the ROAS when you inherited it vs. when you were done, and what drove the improvement? Our store gets traffic but 90% of our sales happen on eBay. Without seeing the site yet, what are the most likely reasons shoppers aren't converting on the Shopify store — and what's your diagnostic process? This role has a lot of autonomy. Describe how you'd structure your first 30 days. what would you prioritize and why?Experience:
