Ecommerce Specialist Location Monroe, CT Date Posted August 18, 2026 Job ID 15306 Employment Type Direct Hire Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for an Ecommerce Specialist for an established consumer products organization. This is a hybrid opportunity, with the first 90 days onsite for onboarding and training, followed by a schedule of 3 days in the office and 2 days working remotely.
POSITION OVERVIEW
Our client is seeking an Ecommerce Specialist to manage and optimize a Shopify direct-to-consumer ecommerce experience while supporting digital growth initiatives. This role is responsible for catalog management, site performance, content execution, analytics, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver an exceptional online customer experience. RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage product catalog updates, merchandising, pricing, promotions, and inventory within Shopify. Monitor site performance, optimize user experience, and collaborate with development partners to improve functionality. Maintain SEO best practices and create engaging onsite content that supports organic growth. Analyze ecommerce performance metrics and provide insights to improve conversion and customer experience. Partner cross-functionally with marketing, operations, customer support, and digital teams to support campaigns and product launches. Ensure ecommerce operations remain accurate, efficient, and aligned with business growth initiatives.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Ecommerce, or a related field (Associate's degree considered with relevant experience). 2-4+ years of experience supporting direct-to-consumer ecommerce operations for a consumer products or CPG brand. Hands-on Shopify experience, including product catalog management and familiarity with the Shopify app ecosystem. Strong understanding of ecommerce analytics, merchandising, SEO, website optimization, and order management. Excellent analytical, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with marketing, operations, IT, and customer experience teams while managing multiple priorities.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
Salary:
$75,000-$80,000 annually, with potential flexibility up to $90,000-$95,000 for a highly qualified manager-level candidate. Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage.
