Busy gift shop seeks Ecommerce Manager to oversee online activity If you've been astounded by online stores sending out delicate items with inadequate packaging and just know you could do better, we'd love to meet you! We're looking to add a dedicated Ecommerce Manager to our Tacoma team. You must be intentional about proper packaging and have excellent customer service skills. You'll be comfortable preparing product to survive shipping, with high levels of accuracy and a low rate of damage in a fast-paced environment with a high volume of orders. We have a diverse team of employees that you'll become a part of. Availability to work Monday to Friday and weekends is necessary, as well as the ability to work additional hours during peak seasonal periods. This is an active role that requires standing and walking for most of each shift.

Primary Responsibilities:

Order fulfillment Prepare online orders from start to finish Fulfill phone orders Make runs to USPS, UPS, and FedEx as necessary Coordinate inventory transfers from stores in order to fill orders Track and fulfill pending orders once out-of-stock items become available Customer service Respond to customer emails/messages (tracking questions, order status, issues, etc.) Handle complaints and order issues through to resolution Request additional shipping charges when necessary Process returned packages Inventory accuracy Adjust inventory in the POS system when necessary Mark product Out of Stock on company website Upload inventory levels to Amazon store Supplies management Maintain inventory of shipping and packing supplies, reordering as needed Fulfill supplies requests received from stores, reordering supplies as needed The workspace is co-managed with our Purchasing Manager. Managers are expected to support each other, giving priority to customer service-critical tasks and responsibilities. Responsibilities shared with other on-site

Manager:

Confirm shipping costs for in-store purchases as necessary Take phone orders and process payment Check and return phone messages Maintain a safe, tidy, and organized work space, and participate in daily cleaning Previous customer service experience required. Job expectations and requirements may evolve over time based on business needs. Applications without an attached resume will not be reviewed. This is not a seasonal position. Pay:

$22.00 - $24.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 - 40.0 per week
