We are currently seeking a Product Specialist to support the product management team in driving growth, profitability, and life cycle execution for assigned product lines. This entry-level role is responsible for supporting product strategy through data analysis, product launches, pricing maintenance, product content management, forecasting support, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders. The Product Specialist works closely with sales, operations, engineering, marketing, distribution partners, and customers to help ensure assigned product lines are positioned effectively in the market and supported throughout the product life cycle. The role requires strong technical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Duties & Responsibilities Support growth and profitability of assigned product lines across all sales channels, with emphasis on high-service distribution. Monitor product line performance using key performance indicators and provide analysis to support business decisions. Assist in prioritizing projects and initiatives based on business impact, strategic value, and expected return. Support new product introductions in accordance with the established New Product Introduction (NPI) process. Maintain product data for assigned product lines, including specifications, attribute data, digital assets, and related system information. Help develop and maintain product training materials for internal teams, distributors, and sales partners. Support creation of digital and printed marketing collateral in collaboration with the marketing team. Publish and maintain market-level pricing for assigned product lines. Provide input to monthly and quarterly forecasting activities. Support product lifecycle management activities, including product transitions, rationalization, and ongoing portfolio maintenance. Build and maintain effective working relationships with distribution partners, customers, and internal cross-functional teams. Provide product and technical support to internal and external customers, including distributors and sales partners. Assist with competitive, market, and product analysis to support product line strategy and business planning.
Education / Experience
Requirement Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, marketing, or a related technical field. Strong technical aptitude and interest in working with engineered products in a manufacturing environment. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings. Internship or prior experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. Familiarity with ERP or MRP systems and understanding of product structures such as BOMs and routings preferred. Familiarity with business intelligence tools such as Tableau or Power BI preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
