• Eastern Accents Eastern Accents is looking for an experienced Sales Analyst to help management better understand our sales performance, find opportunities, and recognize problems early.

We have many years of sales and customer data. We are looking for someone who likes working with numbers, finding patterns, asking questions, and turning data into useful information for management.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze sales by customer, salesperson, territory, channel, and category
• Identify customers whose business is growing or declining
• Find changes and unusual patterns in customer purchasing
• Identify opportunities within our existing customer base
• Analyze salesperson and territory performance
• Compare current sales with previous periods and historical trends
• Create clear and useful reports and dashboards
• Look into significant changes in sales and understand the reasons behind them
• Bring findings and recommendations directly to management
• Help management decide where the sales team should focus We are looking for someone who is analytical, curious, organized, and willing to question the numbers rather than simply report them.

Strong Excel and data analysis skills are important. Experience in home furnishings, textiles, wholesale, or a related field would be helpful, but is not required. Eastern Accents designs and manufactures luxury home textiles in Chicago. We sell through interior designers, furniture retailers, hospitality, e-commerce, and other trade channels.
