CRM Administrator
Job Description
The CRM Administrator will serve as the owner and steward of our sales CRM platform, ensuring it is a trusted, effective tool that supports the day-to-day success of the sales organization. This role is responsible for maintaining data quality, driving user adoption, optimizing sales workflows, and delivering accurate, actionable reporting and insights. Working closely with Sales Leadership, the CRM Administrator will ensure sales data is timely, reliable, and aligned with business objectives. The role will also collaborate with IT and Marketing to maintain system integration, support cross-functional initiatives, and adhere to platform governance standards.
Salary:
75K per year
Essential Functions:
Serve as the primary administrator and point of contact for the sales CRM, including users, roles, permissions, fields, and page layouts, within established platform governance
Own data integrity by setting data entry standards, running regular audits, and leading cleanups for duplicates and incomplete records
Maintain account ownership, territory assignments, and customer hierarchies as territories and the organization evolve
Document system configurations, processes, and changes
Make performance status visible and easy to read so leaders can see what's on track and what needs attention
Train new sales hires and new managers on CRM use as part of their onboarding
Create and maintain user guides, quick-reference materials, and short training content
Monitor usage and data completeness by team and rep, and partner with sales managers to close gaps
Collect user feedback and turn it into improvements that make the system easier to use in the field
Design and maintain workflows for lead capture and routing, including leads from field service technicians and other internal sources to our inside sales team
Coordinate how data moves between the CRM, our order management and workflow platform (VSimple), and marketing automation (Eloqua), and reduce duplicate data entry wherever possible
Map current sales processes, find friction points, and recommend practical improvements
Work with IT and Marketing on system changes, releases, and cross-functional requirements

Required Qualifications:
3+ years of hands-on administration experience with a major CRM platform (Oracle, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, HubSpot, or similar) Proficient in Microsoft Office products including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, Publisher and Word.
Strong reporting and dashboard-building skills
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data cleanup)
Experience supporting a B2B sales team, ideally field or outside sales
Ability to translate business needs into practical system solutions without relying on custom code
Clear communication skills and the ability to train non-technical users patiently and effectively
Strong attention to detail and a sense of ownership over data quality
Occasional travel to branch locations
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Oracle CX/Oracle CRM or Eloqua
Experience with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau
Background in equipment dealership, distribution, or industrial sales environments
Process improvement training or experience (Lean, Six Sigma, or similar)
Platform administrator certification
