Webb, New England's largest wholesale distributor of plumbing, heating, HVAC and industrial supplies is seeking a full-time Data Management Specialist for it's corporate office located in Bedford, MA. This role is responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and quality of product data across our catalog. Each week, this person is assigned a list of products to work through - researching and sourcing accurate product information, supporting documentation, and images. This is an in-person position requiring strong research skills, sharp pattern detection, and the ability to identify anomalies and inconsistencies in product data.
Responsibilities:
Research and source missing product data, supporting documents, and images for weekly assigned products Validate product data accuracy through research Identify anomalies, inconsistencies, and irregularities in product data Standardize and format product data to meet governance standards Identify data that is inconsistent, incomplete, or improperly formatted Enforce established product data standards and procedures Support resolution of duplicate product items Meet weekly product completion goals and accuracy targets set by the Data Governance team Adapt to shifting priorities and reassigned work within the Data Governance department Communicate progress, questions, and roadblocks clearly to team leadersQualifications:
Strong data research skills Strong pattern detection skills and ability to identify anomalies in data Interest in or familiarity with plumbing, heating, and HVAC products a plus Experience using PIM software is a plus Proficient with Microsoft Excel, including formulas and VLOOKUP Ability to interpret data findings and apply them appropriately Strong self-initiative with excellent follow-up skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet weekly deadlines Adaptable and able to shift priorities as needs change Excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills Ability to define and complete tasks with minimal supervision Understanding of product variants/groupings on Ecommerce sites a plus Strong work ethic, dependability, and good judgment Effective interpersonal skills Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Willingness to learn new skills quickly Strong problem-solving skills We are unable to sponsor employment visas now or in the future, and applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.Job Type:
