Job Description The Senior Product Specialist is a key member of the Product Management organization and supports the development, commercialization, sustainment, and growth of assigned products and solutions. Reporting to the Executive Director, Global Product Management, this role serves as the technical and operational link between Product Management, Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Application Engineering, and customers. The Senior Product Specialist serves as a subject matter expert and technical adviser, leads strategic customer engagements, mentors team members, influences product development and direction, develops technical documentation and launch materials, and provides technical support and training for customers and internal stakeholders for the assigned product lines.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assist Product Managers in defining and maintaining product requirements, backlog items, defects, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Influence product roadmap execution by collecting and presenting Voice of Customer, sales feedback, and market intelligence.
  • Participate in product specification development, testing, validation, and New Product Introduction activities.
  • Collaborate with R D, Engineering, Program Management, and Quality teams to support development milestones and release readiness.
  • Provide technical and commercial support to customers, distributors, and regional sales teams.
  • Respond to technical inquiries.
  • Lead customer engagements including technical presentations directly with individual customers and at larger industry events
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, training materials, application notes, competitive analyses, and sales tools.
  • Key contributor to Product Manager for product launches and go-to-market activities in partnership with Marketing and Sales organizations.
  • Deliver product and application training to customers, partners, and internal teams.
  • Maintain KPIs, project documentation, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives. Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, Mechanical, Electrical, or a related technical field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Product Management, Product Marketing, Technical Sales, Applications Engineering, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of non-destructive testing theory and applications.
  • Experience in product marketing . Essential Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a global cross-functional environment.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-driven with a concern for customer needs and satisfaction.
  • Operates with significant autonomy.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 25%.
  • Holds or can obtain a valid passport. Pay Range $95,000 - $128,000 base salary depending on experience plus 7.5% annual bonus target.

Additional Information Our job titles may span more than one career level. The salary rate for this role is currently $95,000 - $128,000. The actual salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, education, business needs, market demands and work location.
