Technical Product Specialist Location :
Nashua, NH Amphenol High Speed Products Group is the market leader for high speed, high bandwidth electrical connectors for the Telecom/Datacom market (Mobile Networks, Storage, Servers, Routers, Switches, etc.). Our products help to enable the electronics revolution and remain a key enabler for all the major Tier 1 OEMs globally. We are currently seeking a Technical Product Specialist to join our Product Management team. The position will be located in Nashua, NH.
SUMMARY:
We are seeking a Technical Product Specialist in our High-Speed Backplane team to interface with our customers, and internal product development, product marketing, and sales teams. This role supports our product management team and customers, and works cross functionally with sales, engineering, production, customer service, and other functions.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Work closely with sales team to support new commercial opportunities, participate in customer engagements, gather technical/product requirements and drive internal resources Prepare materials and participate in product presentations as necessary Support RFQs, RFPs. Aid in development of pricing strategy that achieves target profit margins at all stages of the product life cycle Lead product sampling process for customers including managing and communication of schedules to customers Provide technical marketing support for the development and implementation of Amphenol products Develop marketing materials including product datasheets, press releases, and other online or printed marketing collateral Develop sales and marketing tools, providing technical assistance to customers and sales team Data analysis of product sales including tracking of revenue/margin by product/part number/region/customer Job-related travel up to 10%
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering preferred 2+ years providing product marketing and sales technical support to drive commercial wins Excellent organizational and communication skills, ability to lead and navigate dynamic environments Technical aptitude, including ability to read mechanical drawings Proficiency in Microsoft office products such as Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint Ability to work cross-functionally with global and multicultural teams in marketing, engineering, quality, manufacturing, vendors, and customers
