Job Description:
Job Description Position Summary The Medium UPS Global Product Management team is seeking a motivated and proactive individual to gain hands-on experience in strategic product management, market analysis, and portfolio planning. This internship offers the opportunity to work closely with global product managers and business leaders to support the growth, innovation, and lifecycle management of Vertiv's three-phase UPS solutions.
The preferred candidate should:
  • Be passionate about understanding customer needs, market trends, and product strategy.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Be detail-oriented and capable of working independently.
  • Effectively communicate insights and recommendations.
  • Thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities
  • Perform market, competitive, and customer research to identify trends, opportunities, and strategic growth areas for the three-phase UPS product portfolio.
  • Analyze product portfolio performance, business metrics, and market dynamics to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Develop business cases and recommendations for new products, feature enhancements, and strategic investments.
  • Assist with product roadmap planning, product lifecycle management, and portfolio strategy activities.
  • Collect and synthesize customer feedback to identify unmet needs and product improvement opportunities.
  • Support competitive positioning, pricing analysis, and value proposition development across the Medium UPS portfolio.
  • Prepare presentations, reports, and recommendations that communicate product, customer, and market insights to cross-functional teams and business leaders. Qualifications
  • Pursuing a degree in Engineering, Business, Product Management, or an MBA program.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Demonstrated initiative, professionalism, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
