Job Overview The Marketing Analyst uses market research, campaign performance data, and analytical tools to help guide informed marketing decisions. This role evaluates marketing effectiveness, identifies market and audience trends, develops clear reports and visualizations, and translates data into actionable insights for stakeholders. The Marketing Analyst collaborates with Creative and Account Management teams to establish key performance indicators, test and optimize marketing efforts, and support data-informed planning and forecasting.
Key Responsibilities :
Market Research & Competitive Analysis Conduct research to uncover demographic trends, customer insights, and strategic growth opportunities Monitor competitor strategies, positioning, and performance metrics to guide marketing planning and keep the brand ahead of market shifts Campaign & Performance Analysis Analyze multi-channel performance (SEO, SEM, social, email) using analytics platforms to evaluate ROI and optimize strategy Partner with stakeholders to define key success metrics and run ongoing content and channel tests to drive continuous performance improvements Reporting, Visualization & Forecasting Synthesize complex analytics into clear reports, dashboards, and actionable recommendations for both technical and non-technical stakeholders Apply statistical methods to uncover historical patterns, forecast future marketing trends, and inform strategic planning Build metrics dashboards in Google Looker Studio and develop and provide metrics reports Collaboration & Optimization Collaborate across teams to translate data-backed findings into actionable refinements for marketing tactics and business goals Lead analytical projects from end-to-end, managing timelines and resources to deliver high-priority initiatives while adapting to shifting organizational needs
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, statistics, mathematics, or a related field AND 3 years of applied experience in marketing, market research, or data analysis through professional work, internships, freelance work, or comparable projects OR 5 years of applied experience in marketing, market research, or data analysis through professional work, internships, freelance work, or comparable projects in lieu of a degree At least 2 years of experience must be in analyzing digital marketing efforts Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and experience working with marketing or web analytics tools Experience with the following software: Google Analytics 4, Looker Studio or other data aggregation and reporting platforms, using spreadsheets for analysis, powerpoint or google slide decks, working in project management systems such as Trello or Jira Working knowledge of digital marketing fundamentals, including SEO, SEM, and social media marketing
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification or experience in Google Analytics, Google Ads, data analytics, digital marketing, or a related field Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau Familiarity with SQL, Python, database concepts, or other analytical/programming tools Master's degree or advanced coursework in business, market research, analytics, or a related field Experience with mixed media modeling and analysis
Required Skills/Abilities:
Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability and comfortability to present data insights clearly and effectively to clients and leadership Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment and work with stakeholders across functions Strong organizational, time-management, and prioritization skills with the ability to meet deadlines Familiarity with market research methods, analytical tools, and data visualization practices Ability to learn new platforms, tools, and analytical approaches as business and marketing needs evolve Knowledge of data maintenance best practices Ability to synthesize data and translate it into actionable insights What We Offer Comprehensive Benefits Package
