Location Description The Post Consumer Brands sales office in Bentonville is in the heart of the Natural State, Arkansas. Bentonville is also home to the Walmart home office, which this sales team primarily serves. In addition to managing the relationship with Post's largest customer, the small, dedicated team also participates in several charitable and volunteer events throughout the year. The team prides itself on winning together and working hard to meet goals, while celebrating wins. Responsibilities In this role as the Sr Sales Analyst for Walmart, you'll be a trusted analytics partner to the Sales team, delivering POS, inventory, and shipment insights that shape strategy and drive smarter business decisions. You'll develop a strong command of channel‑specific selling, trade promotion, and financial planning, using that knowledge to evaluate performance against annual demand commitments and identify opportunities for growth. Working directly with the customer in a lead or support role, you'll ensure data and reporting needs are consistently met. You'll also build and evolve reporting solutions that track key metrics, surface insights, and support customer business planning alongside the Customer Team.
Job Responsibilities:
Sales Support Provide newsworthy category and consumer trend data for customer updates, leveraging shopper behavior data Collaborate with Sales and Marketing in the development of customer presentations Maintain customer sales decks and provide support for line reviews and QBR's Prepare reports, presentations, and/or manuals for various meetings Manage the new item setup process and track and analyze new item introductions Develop and maintain strong business relationships with key customer contacts Leverage research tools to create actionable insights Leverage historical data to develop proposed tactics Analytics Provide category insights and analytics using Luminate Charter / Scintilla, Retail Link, Nielsen, Spectra Provide lift and ROI analysis of customer tactics Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly reports that will communicate the health of the business Create concise reports and trend line analyses from raw data by collecting and analyzing sales related information in an ongoing effort to increase sales productivity Track and record progress and publish results on key initiatives and promotional activities for the Walmart Team Communicate identified insights and opportunities to the sales team, PCB leadership as well as the customer Sales Planning Work with the Walmart team to align on and maintain the base Consistently monitor shipments to ensure accurate forecasts
Qualifications Education:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field
Experience:
3-5 years of relevant CPG experience including some combination of Sales Analytics, Customer/Trade Marketing, Customer Management, and/or Category Management.
Skills:
Detail-oriented with strong time management and prioritization skills Flexibility and comfort with changing priorities Strong technical and analytical abilities Advanced experience with syndicated tools including Nielsen, Item 360, and Luminate, Luminate Chater preferred Aptitude for converting business insights into actionable strategies Ability to troubleshoot problems Strong Excel skills Strong PowerPoint skills Demonstrate strengths in analysis and interpersonal skills and communicate with enthusiasm and impact Strong report writing, presentation and delivery, and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently, and under pressure, in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Up to 20% travel will be required
