Role Overview The CRM/Fundraising Database Administrator is the organization's primary administrator and subject-matter resource for Blackbaud Altru and much of the Advancement team's data infrastructure. The role combines database administration, governance, reporting and analytics, prospect research, fundraising and membership operations, data quality, segmentation, and technical support. In practice, the role connects departments and systems: identifying where information originates, how it should be recorded, how it moves between systems, and how it can be reported reliably. The position also develops queries, segmented lists, dashboards, analyses, automation, staff guidance, and documentation. Core Responsibility Areas Altru administration, configuration, troubleshooting, user access, and permissions Constituent, revenue, membership, and prospect data governance and quality Queries, exports, recurring reporting, dashboards, and ad hoc analysis Appeal, membership, mailing, and audience segmentation, including the four-field model Prospect research, DonorSearch administration/automation, prospect identification, and portfolio support Cross-department training, documentation, workflow design, and vendor/support escalation Job Requirements

• very strong database skills
• experience doing bulk mail merges
