About Us AVA Glass Hardware is a fast-growing frameless shower door and glass hardware company serving contractors, glass shops, remodelers, builders, and homeowners throughout Southern California. As our company continues to grow, we are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Marketing & Business Assistant to support our marketing, customer engagement, and day-to-day business activities. This is a hands-on role combining social media and digital marketing (approximately 70%) with customer visits, business development, and general business support (approximately 30%). This position is ideal for someone who is creative, communicates well, learns quickly, and is interested in gaining experience across multiple areas of a growing business. Responsibilities Marketing & Social Media Assist in managing the company's social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and other digital channels. Plan, create, and publish engaging social media content that aligns with the company's branding and marketing goals. Develop monthly content calendars and assist with promotional campaigns. Create photos, short videos, product content, and other marketing materials for social media and digital channels. Support social media advertising campaigns and assist with managing marketing budgets. Monitor social media performance and recommend improvements to increase engagement, brand awareness, and qualified leads. Research competitors, industry trends, customer needs, and local marketing opportunities. Prepare weekly marketing reports and assist with branding, product launches, promotions, and events. Business & Customer Support Visit local customers, glass shops, contractors, and other potential business partners as needed. Assist with local business development and customer outreach activities. Build and maintain positive relationships with existing and potential customers. Follow up with customers and help turn online inquiries into showroom visits and sales opportunities. Respond to customer messages, comments, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner. Welcome customers visiting our showroom and provide a friendly and professional customer experience. Work closely with the sales team to support customer follow-ups and business opportunities. Assist management with scheduling, communication, research, documentation, and other day-to-day business activities. Prepare reports, spreadsheets, presentations, and other business materials as needed. Qualifications Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred. Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Management, or a related field preferred. Minimum of 1 year of relevant professional work experience required, preferably in marketing, social media, business development, customer service, sales support, or a related area. Fluent in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Chinese proficiency is required. Strong communication, comprehension, and interpersonal skills. Quick learner with the ability to understand new products, processes, and business needs. Friendly, positive, and confident when interacting with customers both online and in person. Organized, proactive, responsible, and detail-oriented. Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. Experience with social media management, content creation, or digital marketing is preferred. Familiarity with Canva, Meta Business Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, or similar business and marketing tools is a plus. Comfortable traveling locally for customer visits and business-related activities. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Visa sponsorship is available for qualified candidates. $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
