Chance Payments is a growing payment processing company looking for a highly organized, tech-savvy Sales & Marketing Assistant to work directly with our sales leadership and support our growing network of sales agents. This is not a traditional administrative assistant position. We are looking for someone who can wear multiple hats, take ownership of projects, communicate confidently with our sales team, and help keep the day-to-day sales operation moving. What You'll Be Doing Social Media Management & Lead Generation You will help manage the Chance Payments presence across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Reddit . We're looking for someone who is genuinely fluent with these platforms—not simply someone who knows how to make and schedule posts. You should understand how each platform works, how people communicate differently on each one, and how social media can be used to identify and develop real business opportunities.
Responsibilities include:
Creating, scheduling, and publishing social media content Monitoring comments, messages, mentions, and engagement Identifying potential merchant and sales-agent opportunities through social media Engaging appropriately with prospects and industry conversations Helping turn social media activity into qualified leads for our sales team Assisting with marketing campaigns and content coordination Tracking engagement and identifying what content and channels are producing results Reddit Experience Is Especially Important Reddit will be an important part of this position. We are looking for someone who understands that Reddit is very different from Instagram, Facebook, or LinkedIn.
You should be comfortable:
Monitoring relevant subreddits, communities, posts, and conversations throughout the day Searching Reddit for discussions related to payment processing, merchant accounts, high-risk payments, POS systems, and businesses experiencing processing challenges Recognizing conversations that may represent genuine sales opportunities Understanding subreddit rules, etiquette, and community expectations Engaging naturally and professionally without spamming or aggressively soliciting users Identifying potential leads and routing qualified opportunities to our sales team Tracking relevant conversations and following up when appropriate Previous hands-on Reddit experience is strongly preferred. We want someone who understands Reddit culture and knows how to participate in communities—not someone who simply knows how to create a Reddit account. Agent Relations & Sales Support Our sales agents need a central person who can help quarterback their day-to-day needs . You'll help: Answer routine agent questions Direct agents to the appropriate person or department when needed Follow up on outstanding requests Help agents obtain applications, pricing information, marketing materials, and sales resources Track open items and make sure they don't fall through the cracks Communicate application and account status updates Provide a high level of responsiveness and professionalism to our agent network Merchant Application Processing You'll assist our sales team with getting merchant applications from submission through approval.
Responsibilities include:
Reviewing applications for completeness Collecting missing documents and information Submitting applications through various processing platforms Monitoring application status Communicating with agents regarding outstanding requirements Helping coordinate merchant onboarding and activation Calendar & Administrative Support You'll also work directly with sales leadership to help organize the day-to-day operation, including: Calendar management Scheduling calls and meetings Coordinating follow-ups Email and communication assistance CRM updates and data entry Maintaining sales and agent records General office and administrative responsibilities Who We're Looking For The right person is organized, resourceful, confident with technology, and an excellent communicator. Strong candidates will have:
